Hi everyone, It’s officially summer break and the temperatures have also come on strong to prove it. I don’t mind the temperatures it’s the humidity that is the killer. Anyways, enough of me whining about the weather when the world is in utter chaos. I need to be grateful I have a summer to enjoy and a roof over my head and the list goes on and on. Today, over at Seize the Birthday Colleen has asked us to embrace Summer for our topping. Remember if you don’t want to use the topping you don’t have to, as any Birthday card will do.
Card details: I have a big mix of companies for this card so message me if you have a question. I will mention that I used a stencil at the bottom and top of my panel so that it wasn’t completely stark white. I just love this beach chair from Stampin Up and not sure why I don’t use it more. I guess I may just have too many stamps. LOL
Hope to see you over at STB in our gallery! Nanc’

Awesome beach scene, I can imagine you by the ocean sitting in that chair, maybe your are dipping your toes in the water as your flip flops are by the chair! Love your sun!

This is summer seaside perfection! All these elements combine together so well, and the stencilling at the top and bottom of the main panel is genius.

What a sweet, summery, sunny card. It just makes me smile…..all over my face!!! I bet it’s getting hot down there. It’s hot here too….in the 80s. Love you, my friend.

All of these summer images are arranged to make a wonderful scene. One that I wish I was in right now. Nice arrangement of dies and stencils and stamping.

The stenciling makes that panel look like a decorated beach towel, Nancy. I can see why you love that little chair. All the little details say full blown summer to me.

I am loving this! Its like a virtual beach scene – it has all the elements, and in the right place, all you have to do is replace the background into a beach scene in your head!! Of course, the sky and the beach blues are already there, so we can skip that part! 😀 Awesome card, Nancy!

Great summer scene. I agree with Bobby, I had to look again and the stenciling does make it look like a big beach towel.
