Hello there, I am absolutely smitten for a new to me stamp set from MFT. I received these cute peacocks from someone that was getting rid of her MFT stamps on the MFT FB group. I scored 5 cute sets for dirt cheap. They all came with their die-cuts too. This peacock is so much fun to color. I am linking her up over at three challenges; Freshly Made Sketches, The Paper Players, and NBUS. For the Paper Players tic tac toe board, I used the diagonal row of purple,die-cut, and birthday. Below I have one more photo of my card as I couldn’t decide which one I liked best. If you don’t mind can I have your opinion? The above one is in my lightbox. The second one is outside. Why is it as card makers we are never satisfied with our photos. Please tell me I am not alone?
Card Details: MFT: Peacock stamp set, scalloped edge, ric-rac die, rectangle, and rounded corner die, Dots EF from Sizzix, Copics and Prisma Colored pencils, enamel dots are SU and lots of pop dots for dimension.

I love these bright colors and that cute peacock, Nancy! Backing him with the embossed green panel makes him POP! Thanks for sharing another great card for The Paper Players Tic Tac Toe challenge!
Both photos look nice, so you could go either way in my opinion. I too struggle with photographing my cards. I finally settled on using natural light and have to make sure to time it just right for optimum results. (I’ve been too cheap to buy a light tent 🙂

Nancy I love the bright colours on your card and the peacock is adorable! I love the embossed panel and rick-rack vertical patterns too. As for your photos I think they are both great and work, although the colours are more luminous on the second one. I think great photos are the holy grail – I often feel like mine could be better too and I always struggle to photograph anything silver!! Keep experimenting – that’s what I do! What a bright and pretty card, Nanc’! Love the design! The only difference I can see is that the white on your outside photo looks whiter and less gray. You are NOT alone in never being satisfied with your photos, lol! Keep taking care of yourself, too! Hugs, Darnell

Gorgeous color on your card, Nancy, and I do think it shows up truer outside. I have a terrible time with my light box, even after changing the white balance on my camera. I’d love to have weather and sun to be able to shoot outdoors. You did good getting those stamps. Every time I’m on the FB page they are already spoken for. Do you know that one who is getting rid of her stamps was at our table when we did the road trip?
