How about some Summer Fun to start the day? This cute little penguin doesn’t care that there is a world crisis going on, he is ready for some summer fun. I am playing along with the colors over at The Color Throwdown. I want to say that this card looks even better in person. I can’t seem to photograph these cute black penguins without them looking bald. LOL Trust me when I say the light spots of his skin look far better in person than they reveal on camera.
I did another Jennifer McGuire background masking technique for my card. I love how it came out. If you didn’t see her video I have linked it up again for you here.
As for details on my card. I wanted to show you that the blue circle isn’t laying on top of the pink waves and in fact one smooth piece of card stock, so I have a close-up photo for you below. All the stamps are from MFT along with the Splash stencil. The wave stencil I believe is from Mayco but not 100% sure. I should always remember to write on the stencil when removing it from the packaging. I used a mix of Copics, Oxide Inks, and Prismas as my mediums of choice.
Your visits really do help with this stay at home life that we find ourselves in. Hubby and I are trying to do our part so we can get back to life someday.
I am off to go make some more cards! What else do you do when it’s 90+ degrees outside! Nanc’

Wow! One smooth layer that is great for mailing but looks 3D. Love that adorable penguin. He has a great idea for some fun.
