Hi, Hope you are doing well and staying safe the best you can these days. We have a great color trio starting today at Just Us Girls. The colors as you see are Light Grey, Teal, and Mustard. Today’s card is a CASE of this card Here. I love taking a card I admire and creating it myself, and I personally think it’s a great compliment to the original designer.
I just love this Stampin Up set called Bloom and Grow. I didn’t do my card in the most logical way. I am having a run of stupidity this week, and It’s becoming a serious problem. I wish I was kidding. I am going to refer to it as Pandemic brain. I think we could collectively use that excuse for just about anything that goes wrong in our life these days. Join me! Don’t take the fall alone. LOL
Anyways, as for my stupidity, I ended up sponging the background last instead of first and it caused a little bit of a muted look on my flowers. I used Copics and the sentiment is also Stampin Up.
I hope you pop on over to JUGS and join us! The team did another great job this week. Take care, Nanc’

I am right there with you on the pandemic brain! Lol Great minds think alike. But I really like how this card turned out. You sponged it lightly and I love that look. These are great colors together. I would love to enter, but I am too lazy to write the post. Pandemic brain .

Wonderful CASE card, Nancy, and I agree it is a compliment to the original artist. I think your sponging looks lovely and helps make those beautifully coloured flowers pop.

I think the sponging helps define the flowers, Nancy, and it looks fine done after IMO.
