Hello, Today over at Seize the Birthday we have a new challenge beginning and Ashwini has picked a tic tac toe board for us to chose from. I always enjoy these types of challenges.
I have chosen the middle row of; Inlaid-die-cutting, flowers, and water coloring. I just love this flower from MFT and thought it would look great watercolored. I heat embossed the flower first and then while I was at it I decided to watercolor the background as well. Since I finally got the die-cut ( that is constantly out of stock over at MFT) to go with the flower it worked perfectly for the inlaid part of my row. I finished it off with an MFT birthday greeting and some sequins.
I hope you will come check out the lovely array of cards over at Seize the Birthday…the team and our guest Jen did a great job once again.
Take care, Nanc’

Wow! I love how you colored the background and your color choice for it which goes with one flower and gives an awesome contrast to the other two flowers! Beautiful card, Nancy!

Wonderful card, I love the neatness you get with inlaid die-cutting xx

Ah, that’s inlaid die cutting – I somehow thought it was only the embossing being a bit thicker on the outlines of the image. But you are right, it makes for a perfect watercoloring experience – which is so apparent in your card, too! Love it, Nancy!
