Add Gold

Hello,  Add Gold is our topping starting at Seize the Birthday.  Not a hard topping one would think.  Well, I struggled with this and not sure why.  I made three different cards and settled on this one and I do mean settled. LOL I made this card for a friend’s dad that is turning 90.  What a milestone!

Here is a close up so you can see some of the sparkle.

Before I go I want to thanks Jen for being such a fabulous Surprise Party Guest the past two months.  It has been such a pleasure having you onboard and look forward to seeing you back in our gallery soon.

Details:  Embossed the center panel using a stencil and gold embossing powder. The window opening is a die from MFT.  The sentiment is a fav from Verve. The balloons are SU and the 90 is Sizzix.

I hope you will pop on over to STB and join us,
Nanc’

  2. Wow, 90 is a great milestone. Your card is lovely and perfect masculine card. Love all the gold elements.

  3. Fantastic milestone birthday design.

  4. 90! Its great even to make a card for someone for a milestone like this! Glad you got to add all that gold for this special card! It makes it that much extra special!!

  5. My first thought was how do you even know someone that is 90? My second thought was this is genius. You are so clever.

  6. Gold is perfect for a significant birthday number – and you managed to combine it with making a masculine card, too! I really like this one.

  7. Love the navy with gold and white, wonderful masculine card, I’m sure your friend’s Dad will love it, Cathy x

  8. Navy and gold is one of my favorite color combos! I’d add coral pink for my flowers of course :). But for a masculine card the color combo works perfectly without coral pink! So classy and elegant!

  9. Navy and gold is such a classy combination, so it’s perfectly suitable for a masculine 90th birthday. I’m sure the recipient would have loved it 🙂

  10. Always love gold and blue together – so striking! Love the layout too… wonderful card my friend.
