Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Hello, Today starts the newest challenge over at Just Us Girls and it just so happens to be Wild Card Week and Carol has chosen Butterflies to inspire us.  I have this Pretty Pink Posh set of Butterfly stamps that I have been ignoring as of late and I was determined to show them some love this week. Making the background to my card was so much fun and super easy.   All you do is take a circle stencil (mine is from my local craft store) and ink up the stencil with whatever inks you would like to work with, spritz it with water and then flip it over and push it down on a piece of watercolor paper. Repeat the process until you are happy with your results. I will definitely be doing this again soon.  I used my Copics to color the butterflies and leaves.

I would like to say farewell and thanks to Lisa Elton for being with us this month at JUGS. You have been an absolute delight and we look forward to seeing you and your lovely work back in our gallery again soon.

Please come over to JUGS and join us, and who knows you may even become our next Guest Designer.  Nanc’

  1. Beautiful design.

  2. Wow! I just saw Kathy Racoosin do this technique this morning. I was directed there from another blog post. It sure looks like fun and I thought I might give it a try. Now you have inspired me to get right to it. I like that you made your background more colorful than the video that I watched.

  3. Gorgeous card! I absolutely love that background!
