Hi! This card is one of those cards that you aren’t sure if you love it or hate it. LOL The jury is still deliberating as we speak. I think I cheated a bit with the green as it’s more turquoise for the majority of the card. Sorry about that Carol. There was no time to fix it when I started to write this post. I did use a green piece of chalk for the stem and leaves of the flower though. I chalked up the flower too. I haven’t done that technique for so long. All you need is a Q-tip to color with.
The flower stamp is from Stampin Up, the HELLO – die-cuts from MFT, the scalloped piece at the bottom and the tab on the side are MFT dies also. I am not sure where I got the checkered stencil for the background. Everything was done with chalk.

You must have still been in a turquoise mood! 😉 I think it’s a very pretty card – love the airy feeling the bottom die cutting gives the design. Pulling out your chalks is pretty cool, too. 🙂

Looks just fine to me! Chalks? I haven’t thought about those in years. I’ll bet there are some, though, in my craft closet. After seeing this, I think I should pull them out. The flower is beautifully colored, and I love the stencilled background.

I got rid of my chalks a long time ago. They give a soft look to your card, Nancy.

Great technique! I haven’t used my chalks in so long. Not even sure where they are! This is so pretty…I don’t know why you need a jury to decide! LOL!

My vote is for I love this beautiful design! That stenciled background is perfect and I love the flowers stamped over the top of it. I just saw my chalks the other day and I love how you used yours on the flower and background with beautiful results. I just might have to play with mine soon.
