You Color My World

Hello, It’s Saturday and time for Color Week at Just Us Girls. This card was pretty quick and fun to throw together. I started off by taking my Alcohol Inks and just throwing the colors down with not much thought as I knew I was going to turn them into flowers anyway. Next, I used an Altenew floral in the background that was heat embossed in white. The sentiment is also embossed and it’s from your Next Stamp.  The flowers are from Stampin Up. The leaves are also a SU punch.  My colors came out a little more pastel than they really are but I took the photo in the sun. The weather has been truly fabulous here!

Hope to see you over at Just Us Girls! Nanc’

  1. I LOVE this! Those alcohol ink flowers are gorgeous and I love how you have arranged them. The white embossed sentiment on the purple looks fabulous. Beautiful creation!

  2. Excellent use of the colors — all your layering is awesome!

  3. Oh my gosh, this is so pretty. I haven’t used that die set in FOREVER! In fact I forgot about it, I must pull it out again. Ina just used it the other day too. Do you think those flowers look like poinsettias…..haha!!! I’m all about Christmas right now. LOVE what you have done with that challenge, it’s simply FABULOUS!!!!

  4. Those flowers are just gorgeous and you have used ‘that stamp/die set’ beautifully. Such colours from the inks. Love the sentiment too Nancy.

  5. Using alcohol inks was a great way to combine those colors, Nancy, and what shine. I love the flower arrangement.

  6. Stunning colors and layout!

  7. Your flowers are gorgeous; it didn’t even dawn on me to reach for alcohol inks (the 6 I have *grin*)! Absolutely lovely card that has certainly coloured my day in the most positive way!
