Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Hello, I hope this post finds you well! I fell in love with the colors over at The Color Throwdown and have two cards to share with you today.

I have had this adorable snowglobe die from Lawn Fawn for a long time and this is the first I have used it.  Oh my goodness is it fun to put together!  Why did I wait so long? I will be making more that is for sure, so you have been forwarned.  I added the bow from Paper Smooches and his face is the cream color as well.  Had to make sure I got all the colors in. The sentiment is from SU and the background stencil is from MFT.  The majority of my Christmas cards I am making this year will all have the MFT stencil somewhere on them. I made 42 backgrounds altogether using white ink about two months ago and have been whittling the stack down ever since.  So fun and quick with a great empact!

Here is a close up so you can see the glittery snow.

Below is my second card! I am linking this up over at CAS Christmas Card Challenge. Over there they want us to use Non-traditional Christmas Colors. The scalloped circle is Spellbinders, the poinsettia is from Impression Obsession and the fern-leaves are SU. The Merry die cut is also SU.

Thanks for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful day however you choose to spend it. Nanc’

  1. Beautiful colors and card designs.

  2. Both beautiful cards. I can see why you love the pretty colour combo. Thank you for joining us at CAS Christmas.

  3. Forty-two!!! That is awesome, where did you have the time and the inspiration to do that many? I guess that it is paying off now. I sure love this card and I can see that globe as a stand-alone ornament too.

  4. I love your mini snow globe as the focal point! Beautiful take on the throwdown colors and I’m so glad you were able to play along in the challenge this week!
