Candy Cane Wishes-Slider

Hi, Today’s card was inspired by my good friend Carol. She and I share ideas and cards that we fall in love with over on Instagram and or Pinterest very often, and as soon as I saw the video she sent me I knew I wanted to make one. The video is in Spanish mind you but it is pretty easy to follow. Carol is a retired Spanish teacher so she had no trouble at all. LOL Let me just warn you that once you make one of these you will want to make more. I have made three so far with hopes to make more.

My card was made with The Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Board in mind.  I have selected the middle row of Red, Fancy Fold, and Twine.

HERE you can see how to make this card. And below are a few photos of the inside and the side view of the sliding circle. Rest assure the Gingerbread men and houses are NOT black as they appear in the photo, Just a chocolate brown. Paper piecing the candy canes back together on the circle closer was a tad easier than some of the intricate parts of the Gingerbread men. LOL

A Few Card Details: Cardstock-Stampin Up, Candy canes and Gingerbread men dies are Impression Obsession, The sentiment inside is Stampin Up as well.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Nanc’
