Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

A Bouquet…

Hello, How is it Saturday already? After this week’s events, I think we all could use a little bouquet of flowers as I pick me up. Not to mention the ongoing Pandemic. SIGH! Making this card was a nice distraction to escape from this world that I don’t recognize anymore. Over at Just Us Girls, it’s Trend Week and all you have to do is use a stencil.

Card Details: The stencil is called Groovy and from Mayco I do believe, the cute little elephant is an old stamp set that I have never used. It is from Crafters Companion. I used colored pencils as my medium.

I am once again going to link this cute little guy up over at NBUS with the incredible Darnell.

I hope you will consider joining us at JUGS this week and however you choose to spend your day that it will be a happy one. Take care, Nanc’

  1. I am loving the multiple frames that you used on this card. They really set off that sweet elephant holding that huge bouquet of roses. Great shading on him and the roses too.

  2. Perfect stenciled bg with your fun colored image!

  3. Awww….such an incredibly adorable card, Nancy; all the heart-eyes for your sweet ellie and his huge bouquet! I agree with Barbara: your layers add wonderful impact! Love this…and I can imagine that creating this brought a smile to your face and distracted you from the chaos for a while. Your country has had quite the week…
