Hello, I hope you are doing well and staying healthy. Today over at Seize the Birthday we have a new topping starting that was selected by the talented Ashwini. The topping is to use Vellum or Transparency on your card and or project. I just love the look of vellum on a card it is easy to do with such a great look.
My card was very quick to through together. I am using what is certainly becoming one of my favorite stamp and die sets from Stampin Up called… Forever Fern. I used a very old wooden stamp that is also SU to make my grey splatters. The sentiment is also from SU and the scalloped dies are MFT.
Before I go I would like to say farewell to Julie Peddicord. She has been a fabulous Surprise Party Guest with us for the past two months and we are certainly going to miss her. Thanks for all your inspiration Julie.
I hope you will consider coming by STB and joining us! Remember our topping is always optional any birthday card will do.
Take care, Nanc’

I seriously just saw a card with this stamp set and said I need that. Then I come here and see how you used it on your card and I need it. I absolutely love this card. I can see why it would be a favorite. It is mine.

What a beautiful, soft colored card. I love how the vellum does dual duty – adds to the softness, and shows off the background a bit more, too. Love this card!!

Such a pretty colour combo. Love the splatters around the edge of the leaves. The sentiment panel is so lovely with the vellum and die cuts. Wishing you well too my friend!
