Rainbow Colors

Hello, It is time for Color Week over at Just Us Girls and Angie asked us to use Rainbow Colors this time around. This was such a great idea as it leaves your creativity pretty wide open. I may not have gotten every color of the rainbow on my card but I think it is close enough. This stamp set is from Hero Arts and Honey Bee stamps and is called Stronger Together. In order to keep the center of the card white, I had to make a mask. Next, I used a variety of Oxide Inks to make my background. Which I might add is blended poorly. Last, I used my heart stencil from Honey Bee Stamps to finish it off in coordinating colors. The Thanks die is from Savvy.

I am trying to continue to embrace other challenge sites along with my DT commitments as I enjoy them so very much. So, I am going to link this card up over at Double D Challenges where the challenge is Hearts with this photo to inspire us.

Please come on over to Just Us Girls and check out all the rainbow of color from my fellow Design Team members, they really did a fabulous job!

Take care, Nanc’

  1. Gorgeous colors and I love the heart with the hand image inside it.

  2. What I love about this card is that you made it so colorful and did it in one layer. By masking the white part, you were able to do that. But I don’t see it at Double D Challenge.

  3. This is awesome! I love your masked heart/hand image in the center of your beautiful rainbow colors and that heart stencil is the perfect compliment to this. I hope life is treating you well!

  4. Like the color on color — turned out awesome

  5. Beautifully done Nancy! My granddaughter signs and would absolutely LOVE this card! Thanks for inspiration! Your rainbow colors are so HAPPY! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Anything with a Heart’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

  9. The stencil made a great background for the heart/hand image, Nancy. And the ink blending looks mighty fine.

  10. Fabulous and such a clever idea with the hand image as a highlight. Awesome coloured background too Nancy.
