Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Mother’s Day

I hope all is well with you! Today I am playing along with the CAS Colours & Sketches color challenge that is nearly about to end and Addicted to Stamps and More’s Make your Mark. As soon as I saw the spring colors of yellow and green I knew I wanted to color some flowers. I have been trying to use up some of the images that are stamped and ready to go and that is where I found this lovely sunflower. The problem is, I have had it for so long and it was gifted to me by a friend, I have no idea whose it is. Sorry about that. Plus when I started coloring it with my Prismas, I realized it wasn’t stamped on colored pencil-friendly paper. So that is why the leaves look like they do. The more I colored it the more the look kinda grew on me. I like the softness and the tips being white. What do you think?

Some card details: DSP- SU, the image is a mystery, the greeting is also SU, the dies are part Spellbinders, SU, and MFT, clear dew drops from Honey Bee Stamps. If you don’t have them you should!

I hope you have a great start to your week! I will be back tomorrow or later today with more cards!

Take care, Nanc’

  1. I really like the softness of the leaves on this one. And the sentiment on the yellow circle caught my eye too.

  2. Beautiful card design. You are way ahead of me. I have not even started my Easter cards.

  3. I really like how the sunflower leaves turned out! Well, honestly – I like how the whole card turned out. 😉 Thanks for joining us at Addicted to Stamps and More, too!

  4. What a pretty sunflower Nancy – so cheery! Thanks for joining us over at CAS Colours and Sketches this week!

  5. This sunflower is so beautiful, Nancy. I love the coloring although the paper was not the colored pencil-friendly paper!!! Thank you for playing along with CC&S challenge.
