Forget the Birthday Cake

Hello, Here we are once again back to the first of the month and time for the next Hues of Color at Color Hues. How did April get here so fast? My fellow DT member Julie has selected Pink and Green which is going to be so perfect for Spring florals. As you can see, my brain went a totally different direction than Spring florals for my card. Apparently, I had Lime Martini’s on my mind. LOL Just kidding, as I couldn’t even tell you the last time I had a Martini. I need to fix that soon!

Card Details: Greeting, Scalloped Rectangle, Martini glass, and Ric-rac are all MFT. The dotted background die is from Sunny Studios. The little limes/lemons are from Jillibean Soup. I have a bit of silver Nuvo drops and glitter on the rim of my glass.

I sure hope you will scoot on over to Color Hues to check out the rest of the cards from my fabulous Design Team and our Guest. I know you will be inspired!

I will be back in a few hours with another post! See you then! Nanc’

  1. What a vibrant combination of pink and lime green, it evokes Miami and the Art Deco party scene for me. Not that I’ve ever been one for cocktails! 🙂

  2. I love the bright colours for this happy card! (Who needs flowers when you can have martinis? :D)

  3. Love that sentiment—and it’s so perfect for the martini and limes! Such a creative answer to the pink and green challenge!

  4. This is a delightful change from the usual birthday cake card and I love it! I’ve never had a lime martini, but it looks good and sounds good! What a fun card for the color challenge!
