Hello, Today over at The Paper Players it’s time for Sketch Week and Jaydee has got a great one for us. I started off with the basis of the layout of the sketch and my card kinda got away from me a bit and I thought the background needed something fun, and that is where the anchor came in. Hopefully the team will think it’s okay, as you can clearly still see the sketch in my design. I think they call those creative liberties in the crafting/art world. LOL
Card Details: I made the negative and positive anchor with my Silhouette Cameo. The stamps are from the SU set called Whale Done. I have no idea where I got the silver stars, but they are 3d…super fun!

I really adore the whole nautical look with the red white and blue colors. The anchor and the starfish with those stars make the sentiment perfect.

What a gorgeous card you turned the sketch into! The star embellishments are great, and the little seahorses on the circle panel are what make the card for me.

Really awesome nautical card! Every element works beautifully together from the mix of stripes and gingham, right down to the metallic stars. Just beautiful in every way!
