Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

HAPPY birthday

Hello, I am back today with a very quick card for The Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge where sweet Jaydee is our hostess. I chose the row going down of- feminine, birthday and floral.

Card Details: The DSP is that older special paper from SU that I talk about often and just adore. I certainly wish they carried it full time. It comes in all different patterns and all you have to do is put ink on it for an emboss resist. I LOVE IT! Really makes for a quick card when you are in a time crunch. I use if very sparingly and keep every scrap. The sunflower and leaves are also from Stampin Up. I added a few gems and a greeting and I was done.

  1. Turquoise and white are so charming! I love this combo and the dies that you used for this card.

  2. Beautiful, Nanc’! This was one of my favorite papers. I love it with turquoise..so cheery! This die cut is awesome. You just can’t beat a simple WOW card! Have a wonderful week!

  3. This is so pretty Nanc’! I love the die cut flower and the turquoise color! Have a great week!

  4. Your die cut flowers matches that background beautifully, Nancy. I can see why you love that paper.

  5. Nance this is beautiful! I love the bright turquoise blue and your Inked panel shows off the detail of that fabulous diecut perfectly! I am struck by how well that paper would work with the SAB dahlia set – and I’m pretty sure I have some of that paper somewhere in my collection. Off to explore with thoughts of this fresh and pretty creation in my head!

  6. Nance, I knew that column would be popular 🙂 I love the turquoise with the crisp white and the mixture of inked and die-cut flowers. Fabulous card. Thank you for rocking my challenge this week

  8. Nancy, your sunflower is perfect for the background paper. I love that DSP and you used it beautifully.

  9. I love that DSP too! Thanks for reminding me to use it…haha! I love how you can add any color you want to it and your card is truly beautiful in that bright blue. I love seeing the sunflower in non-traditional colors and this really pops in the best way possible!
