Hello, I am back today with a Christmas Card for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week. It closes tomorrow at 3pm, I do believe, so you have a little bit of time left to play along. I loved this sketch as soon as I saw it and I am glad I took some time today to make something.

I have given myself two goals by the end of this month. The first, is to have all my DT commitments done through the rest of the year for all 4 of my Design Teams. It is a big goal but I am nearly there! I only need to make two more cards and those challenges aren’t picked yet, and I am patiently waiting. Well, nearly patiently. LOL And for my second goal…That one is to have all my personal Christmas cards finished as well. I am pretty certain that won’t be a problem as I only need 4 more of those.

Do you make goals for yourself as the Holidays approach to make things a bit less stressful?

I am going to join in the fun over at Happy Little Stampers for the Christmas Challenge.

Card Details: The NOEL, snowflake, and the green leaves in the hat are from Spellbinders, the snowman is from MFT and the small greeting is a new stamp I just received from a giveaway from Freshly Made and it’s from Papertrey Ink. The Postage die is new to me also and it’s from Hero Arts! I have wanted those dies for so long!

Take care and Happy Creating, Nanc’

  1. So festive and cute as a button.

  2. This is such a fabulous Christmas card! I just love the colours and that adorable snowman! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

  3. So cute! Love the stripes and dots and your fun sentiment design! I have worked well ahead in many of my DT challenges but I’m not quite as far as you. As for holiday cards, I always make 100+ of one design and usually well on my way by now but not this year. 🙄 Gotta get the parents settled in first. 😉

  4. Love the bright Christmas colors and that very cute snowman! Your goals are impressive, especially given how many DT you are on! I usually make close to 100 Christmas cards and have yet to begin. Some years I make a variety of them, and some years makes many, many multiples. Even that decision is not made. Hoping too get a good start on them in October.

  5. That’s an inspiring idea but I’m not sure if I could do my DT cards that far in advance – I’d end up thinking up other ideas and not being able to prevent myself from doing them again lol!! I love your use of papers and images in this fun festive card 🙂 Vicky x

  6. I recognized that snowman from out trip to MFT, Nancy, and he looks just as good as the ‘O’ in Noel as he does with the Joy. Good for you for getting your cards done. I had to do the same thing when we left Ohio for Michigan. September’s weren’t picked for one DT but fotunately I had what I needed to make those cards. As for Christmas I’m WAY behind. I need 45 cards or more and don’t have many left from last year. That will be my October focus when I’m back in my regular craft rom.

  7. Another winner! Congrats!
