Make a Scene

Hello, The card I am sharing today is for a couple of challenges. First, it’s for the month-long challenge at Christmas Craft Creations. The theme this month is Make a Scene. I stumbled upon this great site a couple of months ago.

I am also linking up with the fun over at Happy Little Stampers, Stencil Challenge where it’s Anything Goes. As you will see with the pics below I made my own stencils for this card.

Card Details: I hope the above photos are self-explanatory. This is a design I have been thinking about and messing with for a little while. For my final card, I purposely left the white between the sand and the water to mimic sea foam. The added white lines should have been a bit more random, they were suggested by a dear friend, but poorly executed. The greeting is from Flora and Fauna. The Santa/sleigh is a stamp from Kitchen Sink Stamps. Of course, I used Distress Oxide Inks. The negative tree stencil is something I made from my old school when I was working and luckily found in my very large box of stencils. I do miss having access to fabulous large Sizzix dies.

I hope you are doing well during this Holiday Season. Take care and happy crafting! Nanc’
