Hi, I am back today with another Easter card and this one is for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge that is going on. I chose the top row of Pastel Colours, Designer Paper, and Die Cut or Punch to make my card. The sweet little flowers have a coordinating punch.
Card Details: Most products are retired and from Stampin-Up and the greeting and small stems are from Verve. The scalloped rectangle is from MFT. I just love how this turned out. The DSP really helped it come along. I also have rhinestones in the centers of my Punched flowers.
Try and do something today that brings you joy even though your heart may be heavy!
Hello, Today over at Just Us Girls it’s Photo Week and Carol McFarland has chosen a fabulous photo to inspire us and hopefully you too! It is as darling as can be! Check it out below!
I am also joining in the challenge over at Just Add Ink where the challenge is to pick two. I chose patterned paper and layers.
Card Details: MFT-grass and stitched window, the eggs were made with an old Creative Memories cutting matt, oval, and blade. I needed a perfect size and I was glad I still had it. The bunny is from Avery Elle and is lightly colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. This layout is a mix of a few cards I saw over on Pinterest that inspired me.
Hello, Today I am joining in the celebration over at Time Out Challenges where they are celebrating their 8th Birthday! Congrats to the Time Out Team, current, and past, for a successful challenge blog. We certainly appreciate you! Here’s to many more years!
I was totally inspired by the graphic when I put both of these cards together.
Card Details: The cake die is from MFT and the sentiments are a mix of Papertrey ink and Verve.
I don’t know about you but I am feeling quite terrible today with the situation going on in the Ukraine and here I am safe in my own home making cards when there are people suffering and fighting for their lives!
Hello, It is Saturday and time for the next fun challenge at Just Us Girls. Ina is our hostess and she has chosen a great trio of colors. One of the colors is teal and it’s always one of those shades that can vary in tone. In my photo, it looks a bit too light and I decided with Ina’s approval that I would go with it. So what I am basically saying is as long as your colors are close to the ones we have on the graphic… “Now, Don’t You Fret, Boba Fett!” Any Ted Lasso fans out there? We have watched both seasons 4 times and laugh just as hard with every episode. Love that show!
Hello, It’s Thursday and time for the next topping over at Seize the Birthday! Smart Ashwini has chosen to educate us this week with a word most of us had never heard of. The word is…
Have you heard of it? I had not! The definition that Aswini gave us is- The occurrence of two different kinds of color. So what she wants us to do is to use two colors on our card and or project with simple neutrals of black and white acceptable but no metallics allowed. Easy enough, huh?
Card Details: This is a similar layout of a card I have made before and I thought it would work nicely for this challenge using Aqua and Lime Green. So I cased myself. Products are: MFT-Ric Rac, scalloped rectangles, Jellibean Soup-limes, dotted die cut-Sunny Studios, Martini Glass-Paper Roses. I have some Stickles on the rim of my glass too. The hearts are a SU punch.
Hope you will head on over to STB and check out the fabulous DT cards along with our fabulous guest Vicky Hayes! Then I hope you will be inspired to join us! I am always inspired by my wonderful teammates.
Hello, It is the middle of the month already, and time for the next Hues of Color at Color Hues! Sweet Kristie has picked one of my favorite color combinations; Navy and Pink. Of course, I still had Gina K’s new stamp, stencil, and die on my desk and decided to use it once again. I actually have two cards for you today!
Card Details: I made my own large background panel that I knew I was going to try and use for two cards. The DSP is an old SU set that I adore. The first card, the sentiment is from Verve. Card two, the greeting is from Gina K.’s bundle. Lots of dimensionals on both. I used both Oxide inks and Catherine Pooler. The rectangle dies are all MFT.
Now, head on over to Color Hues and play along! We have the uber-talented Rosemary joining us as our guest! Welcome, Rosemary!
Card Details: Heart Stencils are from Miss Inks Stamps and I love them. The cloud stencil and stamp set are from MFT. I used Copics and a bit of Prismas to color. The greeting is from Sunny Studios and it’s from a Sympathy set called-Inside Greetings Sympathy.
I hope you have a fabulous day and no matter how you spend it, you feel loved!
Hello, I had a few minutes today and wanted to play along with Time Out Challenges. The challenge is to CASE the talented Michele Ferguson from I card Everyone! The card that she made is so pretty and I was immediately inspired to play along. Congrats to Michele for this fun honor, I am so happy for you! Check it out below!
Hello, Today’s card is for Trend Week at Just Us Girls. Sue is our fabulous hostess and she has chosen a great Trend for us. She wants us to use die cuts to make a stencil. I was super excited to see this challenge coming up as I love to make my own backgrounds. Sue always picks great challenges for us and ones that tend to push our creativity. Thanks, Sue! I fell in love with THIS card over on Instagram from Amanda Wilcox and knew I had a Panda in my stash, so I decided to Case it. Although hers is clearly so much better!
Here is a pic of the stencil I made. I came in with a couple other small stamps to complete my background as I thought it needed something else. After I did the background, I came in with the matching stamp to complete the inside of the leaves.
Card Details: Background was made using die cuts from SU-retired. The panda and greeting are from Woodware Crafts. I used Oxide inks as my medium. I used a piece of Vellum that actually has a leaf and flower pattern on it to soften the background.
Now won’t you head on over to Just Us Girls and check out my teammate’s cards and play along?
Card Details: The pool stencil is from MFT. The otters are MFT. The seal is from Sunny Studios. The greetings are either MFT, Sunny Studios, and or a mix of SU and Verve. The fish are SU and I made a free-form and heart stencil myself. The speech bubble is SU. I used Oxide Inks, Copics, and Prismas to color.
Thanks for check-in in on me! Have a lovely creative day! Nanc’
