It’s Pandamonium

Hello, Today’s card is for Trend Week at Just Us Girls. Sue is our fabulous hostess and she has chosen a great Trend for us. She wants us to use die cuts to make a stencil. I was super excited to see this challenge coming up as I love to make my own backgrounds. Sue always picks great challenges for us and ones that tend to push our creativity. Thanks, Sue! I fell in love with THIS card over on Instagram from Amanda Wilcox and knew I had a Panda in my stash, so I decided to Case it. Although hers is clearly so much better!

Here is a pic of the stencil I made. I came in with a couple other small stamps to complete my background as I thought it needed something else. After I did the background, I came in with the matching stamp to complete the inside of the leaves.

Card Details: Background was made using die cuts from SU-retired. The panda and greeting are from Woodware Crafts. I used Oxide inks as my medium. I used a piece of Vellum that actually has a leaf and flower pattern on it to soften the background.

Now won’t you head on over to Just Us Girls and check out my teammate’s cards and play along?

Happy Creating, Nanc’

  1. I looked up the word pandamonium and it means confusion and disorder. Your card is just the opposite of that meaning. I know that it is a PLAY on words and I love that you made your own background and added the inside of the leaves to make it better.
