Hello, It is time for the next challenge over at Just Us Girls. It’s Photo Week and the photo we have for you selected by Bobby has tons of room for inspiration. I could have gone with the obvious birdhouse as some of my wonderful teammates have done but I decided to focus on the colors that stood out the most which were blue and green with pops of yellow. I also loved the scallop of the birdhouse and pulled that into my design with the background stencil and the postal die as well.

I paired my card up to two other challenges. The first is the Tic Tac Toe Challenge and the second is Addicted to Stamps and More for their stencils and die-cut challenge.

Now, head on over to Just Us Girls and check out all the fabulous cards by the team and I hope you will be inspired to play along!
Card Details: Pink Fresh Studio- Daisy Wreath stencil and die set. The sentiment is from SU and the postal die is from Hero Arts. The background stencil is my fav and still a mystery. I used dimensionals too.
Before I go!
If things seemed rather quiet here on the blog as of late, we just got back from a long-awaited vacation in Santa Cruz, California. Here is one of the many pics we took while we were there visiting our son and DIL. We had a really great time! These fabulous redwood trees are just 15 minutes from their home. Yes, it was a bit chilly for these Florida folks.

Find something to do today that brings you joy, Nanc’

Glad that you had a blast on your vacation and seeing your family. I just have to say that this card is so amazing. I love how you colored the flowers and that stencil in the background is so clever. I like that you deviated from the birdhouse in this divine way.

The colors of your card are so pretty for spring! I wondered if you used a floral stencil…you are enabling me to get one, right? Love your layout and all the details up front and your background…your forté! Great card!

Oh, Nanc’, this is just so pretty. I think I have that stencil/die set, I must pull it out and use it again. I love the added stenciling in the background and that postage stamp die cut. And of course the perfect final touch is that lovely photo of all those wonderful, happy people. I am smiling!!! XO~

Wonderful card design, Nancy. The stenciling and die cut made a wonderful resting place for the beautiful blue flowers.

Nanc’ this is gorgeous! I just love the bright pop of blue from those flowers, but am also intrigues by the stenciliing peeking through behind the sentiment panel (I am saving this idea for future use!!) Such a beautiful card and so glad you shared with us over at TicTacToe this week! Hoping I find time to play along at JUGS – and great holiday pic too!

I adored Bobby’s photo inspiration Nancy but sadly ran out of time to join in. Your take on it is just gorgeous with the blue green and yellow colour combination and pretty flower frame against the soft stenciling. Thanks for coming to play at Tic Tac Toe! Vicky x
