When Life Hands You Lemons

I think I should have picked Vodka, but it wasn’t in this set!

My ice cubes came out so cool and I love that straw!

I am here today with a card for the next Hues of Color at Color Hues! Hannelie is our wonderful hostess over there and she has chosen a really fun color combo that I totally enjoyed. We also have a guest designer over there that needs no introduction. Bonnie Klass is joining us!

I am also linking up over at Retro Rubber for their Anything Goes Challenge as this stamp set is really, really old! Ten years at least! The straw is my favorite part!

Card Details: I made my own ice cubes out of Vellum, Nuvo drops and a bit of glitter. Stamp set is from Jillibean Soup. I heat embossed the lemons in white and then inked over them with Oxide Inks for a resist. The glass and lemon die are from Tim Holtz./Sizzix. There are a lot of dimensionals on this card too. Postal die is from Hero Arts.

I hope you will head on over to Color Hues and check out the cards by my fabulous team and guest too!

Take care and I leave you with this quote that I thought was fitting. ” Life is short, and it’s up to you to make it sweet.”- Sarah Louise Delany

  3. Beautiful, Nancy! I love this set – and you’ve really shown it off. I won’t tell anyone else, but you can just put the vodka IN the lemonade – “No one need ever know!” – Julia Child. Snicker. Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!
