Cheers it’s your birthday

Hello, Today starts a new challenge at Seize the Birthday. I am the hostess and I have a very easy Topping for all of you, if you chose to hop on over and play along, we would love to have you!

Card Details: It’s your birthday is from Verve, the Bottle and glasses are from Paper Roses, the Cheers die is from Spellbinders-Outlined Sentiments. As you can probably tell I did quite a bit of ink blending on this card. HERE is the tag that totally sparked my inspiration for this card.

Hope you have a wonderful day and when you read this that Hurricane Ian is sparing us with minimal damage. Take care and be well, Nanc’

A Tweet Hello

Hello, Today I am playing with the ladies over at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I liked Vicky’s board and I have chosen the diagonal row of Flowers, Any Sentiments, and Foliage.

Card Details: The bird and sentiment is an oldie but goodie called A Tweet Hello from MFT. The flowers are from Pink and Main. The stenciled background is from Miss Ink Stamps and called-Leafy Green. The foliage dies are from SU in the old Tropical Thinlits set. I did some ink blending and Copic coloring. This card layout was found on Pinterest but this morning I can not find it amongst the bazillion pins I have saved.

I hope you have a wonderfully creative weekend, looks like I may be preparing for a hurricane all by myself. What are the chances that this happens when hubby is away in Michigan? Take care, Nanc’

BOO

Hello, I am back today with an array of Halloween cards using a mix of products. I posted a card using the cute Pink and Main set called Hello Bootiful about a week ago, but this time I paired it with the new Candy Corn Stencil from Pretty Pink Posh. I am so excited about this product as it’s so much fun to use with fun results.

Here is a close up.

I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketch challenge for the card above. However, I have two more cards using the sets using a circle instead. I love the way they all turned out!

I am linking up card #2 over at Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge and card #3 over at Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge.

Card Details: Stamps are from Pink and Main-Hello Bootiful. The stencil is from Pretty Pink Posh. Card #1 the background is just Oxide inks. Card #2. I used some clear Nuvo drops and glitter for the top of my candy corn. Card #3 actually has texture paste for the top of the candy corn but when I decided to use some glitter it kinda defeated the purpose and you can’t even see the paste. I used Prismas and Copics to color. I made a stencil out of a deckled edge rectangle die and of course a circle too. The rounded scalloped edge on card #2 and 3 is from MFT. I have dimensionals under my sentiments. I used orange glitter paper for my dots.

I so enjoy your visit and thanks so much for coming by! Nanc’

With Sympathy

Hello, It’s Saturday and it’s time for the next challenge at Just Us Girls where yours truly is the hostess this time. I have chosen a fall picture for your inspiration. I used a bit of this and that to achieve the look I was going for. The Design Team and our Guest Julie did a wonderful job with this challenge. Speaking of Julie, today is her last post with us as our guest. Julie, it’s been an absolute pleasure having you with us.

Card Details: If you have any specific questions let me know. I did a lot of stencil work and ink blending from dies and the smaller leaves are stamps from the same set. It is a retired set called Colorful Seasons and the coordinating die set is called Seasonal Layers. The Perfect Plaid Stencil is from Miss Ink Stamps.

I hope you will come on over to Just Us Girls and play along with us. We would love to have you. Nanc’

Hello

Hi, I hope you are having a good week so far. Today’s card has been waiting in the wings as I wanted to wait till the die set got re-released over at Spellbinders. Initially, it was the August Small Die of the Month Club but now it’s back for purchase for all. It is called Outlined Sentiments but also has darling florals and leaves in the set as well. This set was not gifted to me, I purchased it. I have it pictured below along with affiliate links.

Outlined Sentiments

Classic Scalloped Circles

Spellbinders 6

Card Details: I used strips of paper for my background and built my card from there. I thought if I outlined the flowers and leaves just a little with a gold pen, it would tie in with the sentiment and floral centers perfectly. I used vellum as my shadow on the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day and you get to get a little crafty, Nanc’

Let today be…

Hello, I am back today with another fun card showcasing Spellbinder’s newest dies Enchanted Garden in the Winter Tales Collection. This time I wanted to try some deeper-toned florals with kraft. I think the colors paired nicely together.

Other card details: I used Spellbinders Loops embossing folder for the bottom of my card. I used my Fiskers cutter to make the victorian edge piece of red to separate the colors. The thin strip of gold paper was used to tie in with the sentiment. The foiled sentiment is pre-made and comes in a pack from Pink Fresh Studio. A few sequins to finish it off.

You make me Smile

Hello, I am back today with a CAS card for the latest challenge over at The Paper Players. If you have been a follower of my blog for some time you know that these leaves from Stampin Up are a favorite of mine and a staple this time of year. They are old, so sadly no longer available.

Card Details: First, I made a stencil of the leaf itself and inked it up with three fall colors of Oxide Inks. Then I took the die and cut them out. Next, I used the detailed die and cut it out using gold glitter paper. I think the mix of inks and glitter looks amazing together. The sentiment is heat embossed in gold and is from Stampin Up (retired) as well. I think the final gold dots tied it all together.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get to do something today that brings you JOY! Nanc’

Ghostly Greetings

Hello, I have a fun large slimline card for you today using some new to-me products that I just picked up a few days ago from the Pink and Main store. I love that they have a storefront that is just 20 minutes from my house. It’s quite dangerous as it is packed with so many cute products to choose from. If you want to check out the products I have used for this card, I have linked them up for you below.

Since these products are brand new to me, I am linking up with Darnell over at NBUS.

Card Details: Pink and Main-Hello Bootiful and Square Frame Dies. I used my MFT cloud stencil and Oxide Inks to make the sky behind each image. I colored my images with Copics. I also took some glitter paper and made a thin strip across the bottom of each of the black square frames. I used the same paper for stars and dots. I have dimensionals under all four of my sentiments. I took a black sharpie and put a fine line around my purple polka-dotted paper before adhering it to the orange paper.

Thanks for stopping in and I hope you have a wonderfully creative day, Nanc’

A Whole Llama Love

Hello, I have had a very busy week and today I am back with another card and this one just makes me smile every time I look at it. Not long ago, I made a pig card very similar to this one using the same Friendly Faces dies from MFT but this time I am using Mr. Llama. Isn’t he cute?

I made him with two challenges in mind. The sketch over at Freshly Made and the Colors over at The Color Throwdown. I hope it’s okay that I moved my sentiment to the bottom of the sketch as I just couldn’t cover up those cute faces.

Card Details: MFT-Friendy Faces, the sentiment is from the set Punny Farm. The stitched heart die is from MFT. The long stripped dies are from Pink and Main.

Thanks for coming by and I am sending you a Whole Llama Love for all your visits and sweet messages too, Nanc’

Hello

Hi, Hope you are doing well! I am back showcasing Spellbinder’s newest dies once again called Enchanted Garden in the Winter Tales Collection. I paired it with other Spellbinder products to make a Hello card. The Embossing folder is brand new to me and called Loops. The Hello die is from August’s small die of the month club and is such a great set, that I have been really enjoying. It will be released once again very soon.

A few more card details: The polka dot stripe is Washi tape. The red strip was made with my victorian edge die Fisker’s trimmer that is as old as the hills. The silver dots are made from the Spellbinders Holly die in the Noel set.
