Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Hello Friend

Hello, It’s Saturday and you know what that means! It’s time for the next challenge at Just Us Girls! It happens to be Color Week and Ina is our hostess. I love the trio of colors she has for us; Turquoise, Mustard, and Black. Great selection, Ina!

Card Details: Today’s card came together very quickly. First, I made a stencil using Spellbinder’s Deckled Edge rectangles. Then I blended my background in Mustard Seed and Peacock Feathers. The butterflies are from Birch Press Designs. The pre-made foiled greeting is from Pink Fresh Studio. A small gold heart and some black Nuvo drops to finish it off, (that I regret using now.)

Now, pop on over to Just Us Girls and check out the DT’s cards along with our new fabulous guest-Michele Ferguson! Welcome, Michele! So happy you are with us this month!

Happy crafting, Nanc’

  4. Nancy… you are a pro at making clean cards. As always, I love your design!

  5. You are the absolute Queen of backgrounds and I love the deckle-y edge of this one! Your design really makes this color combo pop and the whit butterflies point out the CAS feel of our card! Again, this would make a nice set of cards as a gift or to sell.

  6. Nancy, your deckle edged scene is a perfect stage for your beautiful butterflies! Gorgeous smile-making card in every way!

  11. I love your background! So clever! The butterflies look so nice on it as well. And those premade foiled sentiments are the best, right?
