Hello, I am back today with the next challenge at Just Us Girls. Elizabeth is our hostess for Photo/Moodboard Week. She has picked a wonderful array of photos that are sure to inspire. They certainly inspired me. I was immediately drawn to the lemons in the photo and knew I had just the paper and supplies to pull it all together.
Card Details: I made my own ice cubes out of Vellum, Nuvo drops, and a bit of glitter. The large Stamp set is from MFT the word Sweet is from Jilly Bean Soup, I do belive. I heat-embossed the lemons in white on yellow paper. The glass and lemon dies are from Tim Holtz/Sizzix. I used a Hero Arts Postage Die. The lemon paper in the background is packaging left over from some Lemony cocktails I purchased eons ago. I saved it for just this very reason. I have some dimensionals for depth.

Amazing that you have pulled so many ingredients together to make this amazing card. I love that lemon paper that you save for just this occasion. Making your own ice cubes is very original. Altogether a fab card for this challenge.

So clever how you made the ice cubes and the way you centered the glass and lemons on the circle and grounded them with the stripes…fabulous!!! I need to buy whatever you bought to get that lemon patterned paper because it is sooooooooo cute! Love your card so much!!!!

Wait just a minute – didn’t we buy some little, tiny ice cubes at MFT while visiting? Vellum was such a fantastic idea though! LOve that upcycled paper – I have been known to save a few such things as packaging. lol

This is totally sweet! The design is fabulous with the lemon background paired with the polka dots. Your glass of lemonade is absolutely perfect with the striped straw ready to sip. Sweet creation!
