Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Birthday Blessings

Hello, I am back today with a birthday card for the fabulous colors over at The Color Throwdown. I fell in love with the photo in their graphic along with DT member Lynn’s card.

Card Details: The greeting is an oldy but goodie from Verve. The scalloped pierce edges are from MFT. I used some Oxide inks to add some color to the lemons and leaves for a more realistic look. What is it about polka dots that is so appealing? I love them, do you?

By the way, the die set Lemon Zest is half-price currently at Spellbinders. I have a few of the products I used linked for you below!

Card Details: with Affiliate Inks

Lemon Zest

Spellbinders 6

Bearly Art Glue

Foam Squares

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and a great week ahead, Nanc’

  1. I just love this. There’s something about yellow and white, isn’t there? Your lemons are fabulous, but I think what makes this card are those sweet little white flowers, and the pretty layered borders. Simply FABULOUS!!!!

  2. I love those colors too and how you used them on your card. I love lemons on cards, not sure why, but they look so good.

  3. Do I love polka dots… YES! This is extra pretty, Nancy and every little detail makes me smile!

  4. What a great card! Thanks for playing along with us at the Color Throwdown this week!
