Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Everything I am…

Hello, It’s the middle of the month and that means it’s time for the next Hues of Color at Color Hues. Cindy is our fabulous hostess and she has chosen a great color pairing for us, as you can see below and above. This card is for the store and is a Mother’s Day card.

Card Details: I had a great time putting this card together using some new to me supplies handed down to me by a good friend. These dies are retired and from Stampin Up and are called Pierced Blooms. The sentiment is a Mother’s Day set and is from Paper Roses. I used dark purple cardstock beneath my die-cut flowers to make them pop, and I like how it turned out. I did a bit of ink blending as you can see with my new small brushes from Waffle Flowers (love them) and Oxide Ink. A few sequins to finish it off. This card was inspired by this card Here!

I will be linking my card up over at NBUS as I had not used these dies before.

Now, I certainly hope you will head on over to Color Hues and check out my fabulous teammate’s cards along with our guest Amanda, and then play along! All the cards are so inspiring! Take care and happy crafting, Nanc’
