Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

For Someone Special

Hello, I had a tiny bit of time yesterday so I decided to find a challenge to join in. It didn’t take me long to find this fun sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. I also had these cute flip-flops and beach bag waiting in my stash for quite some time, and that is when the idea formed on how I was going to put them to use.

I took some creative liberties and flipped the sketch so that the top half of my card could be the sky and water and then the break in between both the rectangles could be the seafoam with the bottom rectangle being represented with the sand. I love how it turned out.

I think I will be making more of these cards as the backgrounds come together rather quickly.

Card Details: The Oxide Ink background was made with some torn paper and a deckled edge template that I had made and use quite often. The beach bag is from Spellbinders, and the small Flip Flops are from Impression Obsession. The bird stamp is from SU.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a terrific day! Nanc’
