You Brighten My Day

Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am back today with another card in a different colored background using the Scroll Label Hot Foil Plate. I think pink and silver is one of my all-time favorite color combos, throw in some lilac and white and you have a winning combination, in my opinion. I combined the intricate plate with the Four Petal Bloom Reflection which is also very pretty and easy to put together. I have also used Spellbinders-Mini Everday Sentiments for my greeting. I have everything linked up for you in multiple places if you care to take a look.

Taking photos continues to be a struggle for me some days, throw in foil, and boy oh boy it’s nearly impossible. This card is really quite nice in real life.

Sending Love and Prayers

Hello, It’s Saturday and time for Photo/Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls. Vicki is our hostess and she has a large moodboard with many possibilities for us, and hopefully you, to help spark the creative process. When I first looked at her board I was drawn to the Vanity Fair Graphic in the top corner and the two flowers front and center. I couldn’t decide which way to go, and then finally realized I could combine both of those pics into my design.

I am also playing along over at one of my other favorite challenges- Inkspirational Challenge where they want us to use Stencils.

Card Details: Gina K- Delightful Blooms Stencil in Mustard Seed Oxide Ink and Peeled Paint, Sending is from MFT, the Love and Prayers is from Gina K in her Peaceful Roses stamp set. I sponged the word Sending in yellow Oxide Ink onto yellow cardstock to give it a gradient look and shadowed it in Olive Green. The postage die is from Hero Arts.

I hope you will come on over to Just Us Girls and check out the DT and our Guest- Karen’s cards and play along!

Take care, Nanc’

Miss You

Hello, I hope you are having a good day! I am back as promised with another card using the latest release from Spellbinders- Four Petal Collection. Today I am using two of the products from the release, The Four Petal Bloom Reflection and the Thanks Enclosed Sentiments. I am also using Spellbinder’s Elliptical Oval Die that I recently purchased. This release is so fun and has some really terrific products that you should check out. Also, if you don’t have this Elliptical Oval Die, it is so pretty and works wonderfully as a backdrop and happens to be on SALE right now!

I love how this card turned out. I am trying to make more Clean and Simple cards this year. One more note…I shortened the front panel of my card so I could incorporate the yellow stripe on the inside.

I have everything I used linked for you below.

Happy Valentine’s Day

I have a card today that was made for the challenge over at The Card Concept. I fell in love with the photo and I had a little bit of time today to pull something together. Unfortunately, Valentine’s Day snuck up on me a bit and I didn’t get as many cards made as I would have liked.

Card Details: The flower pot and stems are from a Garden Set from MFT, and the heart flowers are an Owl punch from Stampin Up. The sentiment is also from SU. The white hearts on the pots are a die as well, but I don’t know whose it is. I used a bit of Copics and some Colored pencils to give my flower pots some interest. I wish I would have taken the time to do the stems and hearts as well.

I hope you have a great rest of your weekend and happy crafting, Nanc’

Sorry about that.

For You

Hello, I hope you are having a great day! Today’s card is for the newest release over at Spellbinders called the Four Petals Collection. For my card, I am using the Four Petal-Scroll Label Hot Foil Plate and Sentiment. It is intricate and so pretty and makes for an elegant card in a matter of minutes. I decided to pull out my Spellbinders Truckin Through the Season Die set and use the small presents to turn this into a birthday card. I love the way it turned out. The circle background is a piece of Sparkly DSP that I have had for a very long time. The foil is from Spellbinders and is the Silver Holographic one that you can find in the Foil Pack I have linked below. This card sparkles from head to toe!

Use Your Initials

Hello, Over at Seize the Birthday we have a brand new Topping starting today. Glenda is our wonderful hostess and she has a fun one for us. What she wants us to do is use one of our initials to inspire us. I was a bit overzealous or didn’t read the fine print very well and I used all three of my initials on my card. LOL Some of my fellow DT members used one initial, or two initials and a few of us used all three.

My initials are; NEL. So I used Neon, Embossing, and Love on my card. I thought it was so much fun and hope you will too. Thanks, Glenda, for thinking outside the box on this one. I certainly enjoyed it.

Card Details: The heart and scalloped rectangles are from MFT, and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. The Tiny envelopes and flowers are from Spellbinders and in the Parcel and Post Mailbox Dies linked below. The EF is from Cuttlebug. I used some black Nuvo drops as well.

I certainly hope you will pop on over to Seize the Birthday and check out the amazing work by the team, and join us!

Happy Creating, Nanc’

Some Bunny…

Hello, I hope you are having a great day! Today I am tickled to be the Guest Star Stamper at The Color Throwdown. If you are not familiar with this challenge, well you are missing out. If you know me you know I love Color Challenges. Fun fact, if I did my math right…I believe that the Color Throwdown has been around for about 14 years or so and that is just incredible! Way to go Color Throwdown Team, I certainly enjoy your challenge as do so many others! Today they have a fun trio of colors along with an inspirational photo that is perfect for this time of year!

Card Details: My card was inspired by a mix of a card I made about ten days or two weeks ago and this card Here. The background is a stencil from Miss Ink Stamps. The Cloud dies are from MFT. The sweet bunny and sentiment are from Avery Elle. The balloons were first striped with Copics and then cut out using a die from Spellbinders. The hearts are something I pulled out of a set and sadly now I can’t remember which one, as I leave them in a dish on my desk full time.

I am also linking my card up over at Festive Friday and I have chosen; Hearts, Pink, and Something Shiny

I certainly hope you pop on over to the Color Throwdown and check out all the inspiration from the Design Team and play along! Take care, Nanc’

With Sympathy

Hello, It’s Saturday and time for Color Week at Just Us Girls. Lisa E is our wonderful hostess and she has a lovely color trio for us, and hopefully you. The colors are; Kraft, Pink, and White. We also have a brand new guest joining us that just so happens to be a friend of mine and fellow DT member from Color Hues… Karen Walker! Welcome Karen, I am so glad you will be with us all month long.

Card Details: All products are from Stampin Up and long since retired, sorry about that. I just adore those pink and kraft leave stamps, as they stamp so well and crisp. I used my old Fiskers cutter to make the Victorian edge.

You must run on over to Just Us Girls and check out what the fabulous Design Team did with these colors.

Take care, Nanc’
