Food, Glorious Food

Hello, Today it’s time for our next challenge over at Seize the Birthday. The topping is Food, Glorious Food which happened to be selected by former DT member, Lindsey. As I am typing my post I am thinking about my beautiful friend and how remarkable she was. She was always a glass-half full type of gal and showed humor even up till the end. I could always count on her to make me smile and or burst into laughter from a text message. She would want me to be happy so that is what I am going to do today, for her.

I dare you to read this topping without singing…I certainly can’t!

I made two cards for this challenge.

Card Details: MFT-Birthday Cake die, the sentiments are from Papertrey ink. I used some clear Nuvo drops to make my icing shine. I also took my paper piercer and etched lines in the mirrored paper on the cake stand, and I love the way it looks.

You have to come over to Seize the Birthday and check out my fabulous team’s cards along with Asa our guest. Everyone did such a great job and they are all so different.

I hope however you choose to spend your day, you choose to be happy too. Nanc’

Time Out Turns 8!

Hello, Today I am joining in the celebration over at Time Out Challenges where they are celebrating their 8th Birthday! Congrats to the Time Out Team, current, and past, for a successful challenge blog. We certainly appreciate you! Here’s to many more years!

I was totally inspired by the graphic when I put both of these cards together.

Here is card number 2!

There are prizes to be won as well!

I am also going to join in over at Happy Little Stampers-Anything Goes with Dies.

Card Details: The cake die is from MFT and the sentiments are a mix of Papertrey ink and Verve.

I don’t know about you but I am feeling quite terrible today with the situation going on in the Ukraine and here I am safe in my own home making cards when there are people suffering and fighting for their lives!

Take care, Nanc’
