Celebrate/Happy Birthday

Hello, I hope your week is off to a good start! Over at AAA Card Clean and Simple Challenge they are celebrating their #200th challenge, so I wanted to be sure and join in the fun! The word they have for us is CELEBRATE!

Card Details: The cards came together very quickly! I stuck with my signature look making a shaped background using the pool water stencil from MFT and a circle stencil cut from acetate. The various cocktail glasses are from Paper Roses. I used Oxide inks for the background, the tiny circles, and to add color to the glasses. The happy Birthday is from Verve and the Celebrate die is from Paper Roses and is shadowed with vellum. Some Nuvo drops and dimensionals to finish them off.

I sure appreciate you stopping by! I hope you have a creative week! Nanc’

Celebrate the Best Day Ever

Hi, My card for the latest Sketch Challenge at The Paper Players, hosted by the lovely Anne Marie, is a very quick one where the DSP does all the work! I was still in a bit of a time crunch this week so I unfortunately didn’t have much time to be overly creative. We all have weeks like that, and I think it’s called LIFE.

I also just noticed that my panels are centered and they shouldn’t be! UGH!

Card Details: The Greeting and rectangle die are from SU, the embossed love heart that embosses the word while cutting out the heart is a Recollections die that I have had for eons and never used. The stitched heart is from MFT. The DSP is from Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

Clean and Simple 184

A quick post for all of you today.  I hope you had a great Easter weekend.  I got to see my son yesterday, so it was great!   I found the perfect sketch over at Clean & Simple.  As I was looking through all the other submissions I decided to use stamps only as the focal point instead of paper.  I noticed there were a few others that did that and I thought it was a brilliant idea. Won’t you join me it’s not to late!!!

I hope to get back into more regular posts as soon as I get to feeling better.  Can’t shake this cold or whatever it is.

Take care,
