Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Hello Everyone,

Got to try my hand again at Crayon Resist…boy I love this technique!

Here is a link to a great video by Gina K if you have never tried it…and try you must!

I also got to use my new Tag Punch again from Stampin Up along with a

brand new SU Stamp Set called Perfect Pennants.

Also, today’s card is for 3 different challenges…boy has it been a while since I have had

a chance to combine some challenges!  I have had my eye on these blogs all week

and late yesterday I had an hour to sneak away and create!

I am linking this up to these challenge sites!

Each Graphic is LINKED for you incase you want to join!

First my color pallet…

Next, came the sketch…..

Followed by the challenge hosted by a good friend of mine

Donna…which was to use a TAG on your card!

Congrats Donna!

Hope you have a fantastic week,

Crayon resist…

How come when we do a technique that we really love

then our brain (well my brain) turns to mush and we forget all about it!

Well, that is how I feel about Crayon Resist.  Now, name one person in

America with kids that doesn’t have access to a white crayon.LOL

If you have one you MUST try this or try it again! If you don’t have one…

Run and get one right away!!!

What is so cool about this technique is it never comes out the same way twice.

Here are a few links to tutorials if you are a newbie to this!

My favorite:

Another good one!

You can even color the image first!

I didn’t think of that!

I am linking this card up to three different challenges today:

First is the great sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch…

I hope they don’t mine that my panel is longer than it’s suppose to be. ?

Next, is CASology

the Cue word this time is FREE…isn’t that cool they don’t mean

Free to make what you want, but what your interpretation of FREE means to you.

Butterflies are Free to go where they please…that is for sure…plus the crayon resist technique is free as well…

because you are free to put on as much ink and or crayon as you wish.

Week 50 - Free

And last but not least…..

Addicted to Stamps and More…who does so happen have a “Free”

Anything Goes challenge this time.

So Very Blessed

How I Am Feeling these day!

How I Am Feeling these day!

This card is a statement of how I have been feeling lately! So Very Blessed, to have a wonderful husband that supports me in all my endeavors, and a wonderful son that is so willing to help me and gladly give me advice or his opinion when asked. It has been such a great summer so far, because the quality time I spend with my family has been awesome. We have almost all our meals together and just laugh and talk about anything. So many teenagers these days say they never talk with their parents. If they only knew what they were missing out on. Well now that I have rambled on that for awhile 🙂 About my card! This is a crayon resist technique found at stampTV.

Supplies: card stock: K&Company (peabody scrap pad)

Ink: SU Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose

Stamps: So Very- SU

Accesories: pop dots, ribbon

Enjoy and remember,

Scrap Your Heart !!

Red, White and Blue

You areHappy Fourth Everyone! We are so Blessed to live in such an amazing country!! Hope you have great plans with family or friends today! We don’t have any plans at the moment my son is working, but my hubby and I will probably call some of our friends and see what we can come up with. This card was so much fun to make.  The technique is called crayon resist, and it’s one of the many challenges on over at StampTv.  I made two different pieces of paper with two different star stamps, and I didn’t like the way one of them came out, so I cut it up and attached them with pop dots. I hate throwing anything away and being wasteful. You should see how much scrap paper I have!

Hope you have an awesome Fourth and be safe!

Scrap your heart,
