HUGS

Hello, I am back with one more card for today and my second entry over at Sunday Stamps. I love the colors of their graphic so much that I wanted to make one more card before it closed.

Card Details: My dear friend gave me this card below about a year or so ago and it is displayed in my studio along with so many others of hers and friends I have made along this great journey I feel blessed to be on. I have been wanting to CASE her card for quite some time and I don’t own any stitched dies, as of yet, so I used Kelly Alpha dies from Pink Fresh Studio. The flowers are from Spellbinders in the Parcel Post set. The sentiment is from MFT. The banner dies are from Pink and Main. The background die is from Sunny Studios and is called Frilly Frames.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! Nanc’

Everything I am…

Hello, It’s the middle of the month and that means it’s time for the next Hues of Color at Color Hues. Cindy is our fabulous hostess and she has chosen a great color pairing for us, as you can see below and above. This card is for the store and is a Mother’s Day card.

Card Details: I had a great time putting this card together using some new to me supplies handed down to me by a good friend. These dies are retired and from Stampin Up and are called Pierced Blooms. The sentiment is a Mother’s Day set and is from Paper Roses. I used dark purple cardstock beneath my die-cut flowers to make them pop, and I like how it turned out. I did a bit of ink blending as you can see with my new small brushes from Waffle Flowers (love them) and Oxide Ink. A few sequins to finish it off. This card was inspired by this card Here!

I will be linking my card up over at NBUS as I had not used these dies before.

Now, I certainly hope you will head on over to Color Hues and check out my fabulous teammate’s cards along with our guest Amanda, and then play along! All the cards are so inspiring! Take care and happy crafting, Nanc’

Hello

Hello, Happy Saturday! It is my turn to be hostess this week at Just Us Girls and I have put together a fun little Spring Moodboard for my teammates and hopefully you as well.

Today’s card is a CASE of a fabulous card I saw on Pinterest and fell in love with. You can find it here! This card was very hard to part with as I loved it so much but it went to a very dear friend who is so encouraging to me and others, always!

Card Details: The trellis background was cut down from a Lattice-coverplate from Whimsy Stamps. I used a plaid Miss Ink Stencil to make my rain boots. The rest of the garden plants, pots, and tools are from Sizzix and called Garden Shed. I don’t know if it’s made anymore but it is a fabulous die set. I used Oxide inks and paper to make my pots the perfect pink and also used a green Copic to make my leaves more realistic. I can’t remember where the hello came from.

Now, head on over to Just Us Girls and check out my fabulous teammate’s cards along with our guest Joanne and then I hope to see you in our gallery! Nanc’

You are amazing…

Hello, I am so happy to be back today with one of the newest releases from Spellbinders! This time I had the pleasure of working with the Floral Papers Suite Collection. You will see in today’s card I am working with many of the products in that collection which are linked for you below along with a couple other essential Spellbinders die-cuts.

I had an absolute ball putting this card together because the products pair seamlessly with one another. What I love best is how fast you can put a card together when all the matching of colors and patterned papers is basically done for you. It has been a very long time since I used stickers on a card but these butterfly stickers are absolutely beautiful and the amount and variety of premade sentiments you get in the sentiments pack is amazing.

The other products I used that are not in this collection but are from Spellbinders are; Fluted Circles, Classic Scallops, and the leaf die from the Enchanted Garden collection. I have everything linked for you below! If you are a regular here on my blog you know that I have a habit of making my bling out of paper and that is what I have done on this card. I just use any of the various dies in my collection that are either holly dies, or centers of flowers and they work great for mailing purposes as it keeps the card flat. In this instance, I used gold glitter paper which matched the background paper perfectly.

I certainly appreciate you stopping by! I hope you find some time this week to be creative! I will be back soon with more from this fun collection! Take care and happy creating, Nanc’

Peach and Kraft

Busy day here on the blog…if you are looking for my card for Just Us Girls, please scroll down!

Hello, It’s April 1st, and all joking aside….it’s time for the next Hues of Colors at Color Hues. Stef is our fabulous hostess and she along with the rest of the Design Team did an incredible job with her Peach and Kraft color combo.

Card Details: The lily die is from MFT, the greeting is foiled and from Spellbinders and I have it linked up for you below as I think the entire set is wonderful with so many fabulous phrases! That fun bow is something I was lucky enough to receive from a friend and is in an older SU set called Pierced Blooms and I just love it. I used a bit of DSP that I pierced with a Pink Fresh Studio cover plate called Sparkling Diamonds. I used a bit of Copics to make my lilies come to life. I used some gold foil paper and a small dot die cut to make my gold bits of shimmer to use as accents. It also doesn’t add too much bulk to the card for mailing purposes.

Card Details: with a few Affiliate Inks

Mini Everday Sentiments

Spellbinders 6

Glimmer Hot Foil System

Glimmer Hot Foil Pack

Bearly Art Glue

I am also linking up with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge using the diagonal row of Die-cuts, Free, and Circle.

Please come on over to the Color Hues blog and join us! We would love to have you! Take care, Nanc’

A Farmtastic Day

Hello, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Today it’s time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and Bobby is our wonderful hostess. She has a great coloring pairing for us and hopefully you! Her colors are Terracotta and Green. I had a great time with this CAS card and color duo! I used some Copics and Prismas to color my cow.

Card Details: I just love the way this card came together. I think the copper paper made for a great windmill and barn. As far as the stamps and dies…they are all MFT, please let me know if you have any questions. Also, everything was going perfectly until the very end when I stamped the sentiment. Grrrr…I hate when I don’t get an even stamp throughout the greeting. What can you do!

I am going to link my card up over at NBUS as it’s the first time I have used the windmill and barn dies that were gifted to me by a dear friend.

I hope you will pop on over to Just Us Girls and join us! We also have a brand new guest with us -Welcome Joanne! I am excited to have you with us this month!

I will be back at 9 am with my card for the next hues of Colors at Color Hues.

Take care and Happy crafting, Nanc’

Things in a Garden

Hello, I am hostess this time over at Seize the Birthday and what I have chosen for our Topping is Things in a Garden. I thought it was appropriate since we are at the beginning of Spring here in the States. I have had these scraps hanging out on my desk for quite some time so this card was really quick to put together.

Card Details: MFT- Garden Shed Dies and Scalloped Dies. The rose DSP is just gorgeous but I don’t recall whose it is. The lattice is from Whimsy Stamps, and the sentiment is from Scrapbook.com.

I certainly hope you will head on over to Seize the Birthday and check out what is popping up in my teammate’s gardens…along with our two guests-Hilary and Anagha!

Take care and happy creating, Nanc’
