Christmas Florida Style

Hello, I have a card for you today that may just be my favorite card of the season, so far that is! It all transpired when I saw the natural wreath photo over at Inspired By. When I first sat down to make this card, I was headed in the fall direction but as it started to come together I thought why not include the Christmas photo and the sketch while I was at it too. So that is what I did. Then I was looking for something to decorate the wreath with and came across my shell dies and I was like…Score! It took about 5 or 6 leaf dies that are rather straight to form my wreath. I love that it is not perfectly tight! I also thought the Postal Die mimicked the top of the door! I should know what that is called since I am a huge Home Town fan, but the word escapes me at the moment. Love me some Erin and Ben!

I would also like to play along with two other challenges as well! You know I love the Happy Little Stampers monthly Anything Goes with Dies challenge, and then I am trying to support the new Christmas Card Challenge called Peace on Earth. They are up to their 3rd challenge already. They have an inspiration board to use if you want to but not required.

Card Details: The Wreath was made from six straight leaf dies from Sizzix-Spring Foliage. The postal die cut is from Hero Arts. The shell-dies are Impression Obsession. A few gold glitter sparkles in groups of three and some twine. The greeting is from Veve.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Your visits always brighten my day! Take care, Nanc’

Christmas Palm Tree

Hello Friends, I am back today to share another fun fold slider card. I can’t get enough of these cards this year. I just adore this palm tree stamp and thought it would work spectacular for the slider part.

I am playing along with the TGIF Challenges where the inspiration is Christmas Trees. I don’t know about you I will take a warm palm tree Christmas over a snowy Christmas any day of the week. Don’t get me wrong I think snow is utterly gorgeous but only for a visit.

I purposely tried to color the starfish to have some texture.
I sponged the background ever so slightly and then Copic Colored.

Card Details: Front palm tree, greeting, starfish, and flip flops are all from the same stamp set from Art Impressions. The smaller palm trees are brand new to me and are from Lawn Fawn, I can’t wait to use them more. I also used…Copics, Oxide Inks, and a bit of colored pencil.

Thanks for checking in on me and I hope you have a wonderful day! I may be back in a day or two with a few more Christmas cards to share…time permitting. Nanc’

CAS Christmas in Florida

Hello, I hope this post finds you well and staying safe and healthy. I have been in CAS Christmas card mass-producing mode and when I saw the challenge over at The Paper Players I knew they would be just perfect for their challenge this week. I wish these cards were for me to giveaway but sadly no…this batch is for both stores. Maybe I will get around to making a set for myself too. I so enjoyed making these and love the way they came out!

The Stamp set is from Art Impressions and I used Oxide inks for the backgrounds and Copics and Prisma Colored Pencils. The Merry Christmas greeting is from SU. Love the font on that one!

Thanks so much for your visits I truly really appreciate each and every comment you leave! This is a super busy time for me so I apologize for not reciprocating!

Take care, Nanc’
