Just Add Hearts

More Hearts?  Yes I am afraid so!  You can never get to much LOVE!

Today’s card is going to look very similar to one I posted earlier in the week.

My co-worker liked her card so much that she asked me to make another

one very similar so that she may frame it.  I was happy to oblige and I thought that was such a compliment!

So if you are thinking you have seen this layout before, well yes you have.

This one is much better, don’t you think?

Can’t decide if I like the soft edges on my card photo or if I should leave it the way I usually do it.

Your thoughts?

I am linking it up with two challenges.

Just add Ink– “Just Add Hearts.”

and

The Pink Elephant– “Love is in the Air.”

Love is such a big word…

Hello Friends,

Happy Hump Day!  I love Wednesdays!!  Not sure why, but they are my favorite day of the week….besides the obvious Fridays!

Today’s card is for 3 different challenges…ones I try to play with on a weekly basis.

Started off with a great sketch from The Paper Players, followed by a color challenge over at the Dynamic Duos,

and last but not least a Heart challenge over at The Pink Elephant.

This is what I came up with!

I thought it was about time to make a more Masculine Valentine’s Day card with other colors besides pink and  red!

Color Challenge…

The card I have for you today was a Blast to make!  I cannot take credit for the idea….I owe that to Pinterest!  Here is a link to the idea!  I can’t tell you how many hours I spend on that site!  I am totally addicted!!  This card is for a color challenge at “Stamp TV“, we were asked to use lemon yellow, red, orange and lime green.

Hope you have a great start to your week my friends.    Love summer break 🙂

Smallest things…

This is the card I gave to my Hubby for Valentine’s Day.  It’s a quote from Winnie the Pooh and I don’t own the stamp, but loved the sentiment, so I typed it instead.  Sometimes I feel like that is cheating! LOL

If you like the sentiment you can get it over at Verve Stamps

Have a fantastic weekend and enjoy the outdoors if you get the chance!

High 78 here today! YES!

Love is in the air….

You know it’s February when you walk into every store in town and see lots and lots of  RED!   I have never been much of a sentimentalist for Valentine’s Day, but what I thought I would do is post all my “heart” cards I have made over the last year.

The last one is my absolute favorite!!!!

My hubby always says,” I don’t need an official Hallmark day to tell my wife I love her!” 🙂

Hope you have a great Valentine’s Day, however you choose to spend it.

Missing warmer weather!

Today is absolutely gorgeous here in sunny Florida, but according to the weather report another cold front is headed our way!  So I decided since I can’t get away from the cold weather, I would scrap some photos of warmer weather.  These photos were taken in late September of 06′.

Hope you have a great week!

Remember to take time to scrap your heart,

Valentine Card!

I made this card to give to a very dear friend of mine, not necessarily for Valentine’s Day, but as a thank you for all her hard work and dedication she gives to my son.  He loves this wonderful lady and her family and she has taught him so much, and I am so grateful!

This card was inspired from a challenge over at Stamp TV.

Happy Hump Day!

Time to be creative!

Hi there!  What a great weekend we had here!  Got to see Avatar in 3d- which was very cool!  Got the usual house work done, well most of it! LOL   And yesterday, I also managed a little bit of me time- which means stamping time!  Today we were back at the county fair watching Tyler perform with the Ballroom Club for an encore performance from last weekends 1st place win.  Now, I am watching football with hubby and my dad, while making this post.  Enough about me, on to the card I made!
The card was a challenge over at stamp TV.

Have a great week,
