As Independence Day approaches….to quickly I might add,
I thought it was a good time to post a Fourth of July card that I submitted into this Month’s
Die Cut Crazy Magazine. Here is a link to the Magazine.
Right now the DCCM is just for the iPad but they are looking to expand to other forms.
They are growing, and I am so happy for Stephanie the editor,
she is a real sweetheart with brilliant ideas.
Here is a link to the website as well, they are always looking for new submissions for publications.
You can also like them on Facebook and stay up to date with what they are up to!
My card also links up perfectly with the following challenges.
The Pink Elephant (photo inspiration)
Paper Playtime (red, white and blue)
Not sure if you can really tell what technique I used with this card because it is
very subtle but, I tried my hand at water spritzing. A very simple technique.
After you ink up your stamp simply spritz some water on the stamp before stamping.
That’s all there is to it.
Here is a close up.
In the upper corner you can tell the stamp looks like it bled a little.
That’s what it is suppose to do, and you can control how much or how little by the
amount of water you put on your stamp.
Sorry, it’s been a few days since I posted….we are in the middle of a Kitchen remodel
so I have been up to my elbows in painting, cleaning out the cabinets, and re-organizing.
Love my new Quartz counter tops and my sink is so BIG!!!! It’s an undermount with one basin. LOVE IT!
Wish I had a before photo….I will see if I can hunt one down.
Hope you have a wonderful Independence Day if you in fact celebrate it,
if not enjoy your week and happy crafting!
