Alfred Gordon Photography…

Alfred Gordon Photography is amazing!!   If you need to have your pictures taken for any event you definitely want to call him!  Tyler was selected to be the Manatee High School Spokes person for the 2010-2011 school year.  We did our first photo shoot about a month ago.  We spent the evening driving around Bradenton with Tyler’s wardrobe and things he likes to do crammed in the back of the car and took photos everywhere.  We had the most amazing time!!  I helped hold a reflector when I could, but mostly enjoyed watching two very talented photographers Al Gordon and Billy Dzwonkowski set up and orchestrate these amazing shots!

Please give them a call if you need any photos taken, you won’t be disappointed!!

The first one is my favorite, but love them all!!!

Isn’t he handsome??

Thanks as always for visiting me and have a great week!

Tyler’s Junior Prom 2010

Well as promised I want to share with you some pics of my son and his friends from last night’s prom!  He had an absolutely amazing time and is pleasantly exhausted!  He got home at 1:30 today because the one of the nicest parents agreed to have the kids stay the night, so we didn’t have to worry about them driving.  Tyler said the  mom fed them an unbelievable amount of food both last night when they got home and then this morning. He had one hours sleep and is sooooo happy with how it all turned out and can’t wait until next year!

Thanks for letting me share, but there is nothing sweeter than seeing your son so happy!!

Have a great week!

Aren’t they a great looking bunch of young adults???

Manatee High State Finals

The football season came to an end on Friday night when our amazing Hurricanes competed at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando in the 5A State Finals against Plant Highschool. What an amazing experience it was for our son and the Marching Band. The Hurricanes have nothing to hang their heads about! We were loosing 21-0 at the half and came back with an amazing rally and kept them from scoring again and just fell short of a victory by 1 touchdown. Final score 21-14 Plant! I was amazed at how many fans made the trip to Orlando.
Here are two pictures of Friday Night!
I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season,
Take care, Nancy

Straight Superiors!

Last night my son had his final Band Competition of the Year, its called FBA which stands for Florida Bandmasters Association.  Anyways, the band received straight Superiors, which is the best you can get.  He/We were so thrilled!!!   MHS has received straight superiors for the past 21 years and he was praying while he was in the position of Jr.Drum Major he would do what he could not to let that streak end.  We couldn’t be more proud of him.   He is very popular with the girls as this picture will show.  When I was getting ready to take it there were only two girls with Tyler and then they all came running in!!  He loves Band with all his heart and the people in it!

Have a great week and thanks for looking!

He’s a Prince!

Just have to take a moment and tell you about my son, he was chosen as Prince of his Junior class in High School! It was a huge surprise, because as I recall my High School Experience it always went to the high class snob type of people and our family does not fit that category at all. My hubby is a teacher for goodness sake!!! LOL Anyways, he looked so handsome! The princess that is with him is just a sweet and pretty as she looks! The last photo is of the two senior band representatives along with Tyler! Isn’t she gorgeous!
