Flowers at Just us Girls

Hello, I am back today with two more cards using that same set that I have been smitten with this past couple of weeks from Pink Fresh Studios. Plus, with tomorrow being Mother’s Day and Just Us Girls‘ Word Week challenge is FLOWERS, I just had to use them one last time.

We also have a brand new guest with us this month at JUGS! I would like to give a warm welcome to Deborah Wheeler. Welcome, Deborah! I am super excited to have you joining us!

Here is my second card!

I am also playing along over at Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes Stencil Challenge where I am a regular. LOL

A Few Card Details: Pink Fresh Studios-Choose Hope-Stencil, stamp and die set. I have two additional stencils for the backgrounds, the hearts are from Honey Bee Stamps and the trellis is from Altenew. The sentiments are from SU and Paper Roses. I used Oxide inks and clear Nuvo drops.

I reluctantly will put this set away for a while, as I am sure you have seen just about enough of it.

I hope you will come on over to Just Us Girls and join us for this simple and fun challenge. The Design Team and our guest have made some beautiful cards.

Take care, Nanc’

More Mother’s Day

Hello, I am back today with some more Mother’s Day cards using my favorite stencil/die and stamp set from PFS that I am still crushing on! I apologize in advance as you may just be seeing a few more of these in the next few days.

Card Details: I started off wanting to make a white rose! Next, I had to make a mask of my flowers which was very easy. Then I inked up the flower, covered it with my mask, and then did the stencil work. I had intentions of making one-layer cards and somehow ended up adding layered greetings on each one. All in all, I really do like the way these came out. The greetings are a mix of Paper Roses, Verve, and SU. The Daisy Stencil is from Miss Ink Stamps and one I really love! I added some Nuvo drops on each card.

Scroll down for two more cards!

This time I am playing along with two challenges; TGIF Challenges for their Mother’s Day theme and over at Time Out where they still have a Spring Challenge going on. This is my second entry at Time out.

Here are the other two cards!

I did a terrible job lining the outline stamp on the card above.

I sure appreciate you stopping by! I hope you do something today that is creative, Take care, Nanc’

Mother’s Day/ Guest

Hello, I hope you are doing well! I am so pleased to be a Guest Designer for the May Four Seasons Spring Challenge that starts today! Thanks, Darlene and the team for having me!

They have a beautiful and perfect mood board for this time of year. As you can see I took my inspiration from both the mother’s day sign and the beautiful florals on the top left.

Card Details: I adore all my stencils from Pink Fresh Studios-but the one I have today is called Choose Hope. I used Oxide inks and my heart die from MFT and my postage die is from Her Arts. A few clear Nuvo drops and a sentiment from SU to wrap it up.

I hope you will head on over to the Four Seasons challenge and check out the cards by the DT and play along!

Take care and I hope you do something today that brings you joy, Nanc’

MOM

Hello, Things have been on the quieter side of things as of late here in blogland, as we are in the midst of doing some interior and exterior house painting, and things are not where they should be. You know how that goes. I did sneak in a bit of craft time this morning before the real work begins of putting my house back together. Sadly, my studio did not make the final cut on the new paint list as it really didn’t need it as much as I wanted it. LOL

I decided to play along with the ladies over at Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I had this stenciled panel waiting to be used on my desk, so half the work was done for me. I chose the top row of Mom, Florals, and Ink blending when in fact my card works for three rows on their fun board! That was a happy accident.

I noticed this morning that Time Out Challenges has a theme of Spring beginning, so I will be linking up there as well.

Card Details: Stencil is from Miss Ink Stamps, the MOM is from Simon Says Stamps, the flowers are from Pink and Main, and the leaf die is from Verve, the other small greeting is from Simon Says Stamps. A few rhinestones and I was done. Not sure you can tell but I used vellum as my shadow on my mom die.

I hope you find something to do today that brings you joy, Take care, Nanc’

Red and Orange

Second card for the day! JUGS post is below!

Hello, Here we are again, as the calendar keeps changing and it’s already May 1st. Can you believe it? I can’t! However, in the crafting world it’s a good thing, as that means it is time for the next hues of color at Color Hues. Kristie is our hostess and she has chosen Red and Orange as our color duo. I had some fun with this color combo. I also knew I was going to be making this a Mother’s Day card and thought it would work perfectly for the Addicted to Stamps and More Any Occasion Challenge. So I am linking up over there as well.

Card Details: I have a mix of supplies for today’s card: The background was inked with a fun stencil. The heart die cut is from MFT. The flower array is from SU and from the bloom and Grow set. I colored the flowers TOO HEAVY handed with Copics. I tried to come in with a white Prisma pencil to give the flowers some shading, it only helped a wee bit! The white sprigs are also SU and from Forever Fern. The sentiment is from Paper Roses. I did an inlay with the heart and added a few gems.

Now, it’s time to pop on over to Color Hues, if you haven’t already, and check out what the Design Team and our fabulous sweet and talented guest Tracey McNeely have done. You are sure to be inspired!

Take care and happy creating, Nanc’

Yellow and Grey

Hello, It’s the middle of the month and time for the next hues of color to begin over at Color Hues. I have been looking forward to this color combo for quite sometime. Design Team member Karen made this selection and it’s one of my all time favorites! Did you know that it’s the Pantone Colors of 2021? I didn’t, but I love learning new things! Thanks Karen!

Here is another view of my card.

Card Details: I so enjoyed putting this card together. The new die cut set is from Sizzix and called Spring Foliage. The heart border die is an oldie but favorite of mine from Verve. The greeting is from Stampin Up. The stitched heart is from MFT.

I am going to be linking up my card over at NBUS as this Sizzix set is brand new to me.

Please come join us over at Color Hues where the Design Team has once again blown me away with their cards! The talented Amy Kolling is joining us too! Welcome Amy! We are thrilled to have you along with us!

I hope you have a very enjoyable day! Nanc’

MOM

Hello, Hope all is well with you and you are enjoying your day! I needed to work on some inventory this afternoon, after hubby and I had lunch at the park and went for our daily walk, and I knew right away when I sat down I was going to create something for this fabulous color combo going on over at The Color Throwdown. I couldn’t wait to get started because I just love pink, and in this challenge they have two shades of pink paired with cream. Those colors just screamed Mother’s Day card to me. This card was fun to put together.

Here is a front shot of the card.

Details: A few days ago I had a SSS order come in with this fun new stencil from Altenew called Rose Bouquet and a great SSS MOM die-cut, along with maybe a few other things. LOL So since these items were used for the first time, I am going to link my card up over at NBUS also. After I inked my base of my leaves I came back with a Q-tip to give the leaves some more realistic definition with the same Antique linen ink. It worked perfectly. The bottom sentiment is from Paper Roses- Mother’s Day Quotes and I just love it. Not sure I should have inked it in black ( and crooked-grr) but it’s a little late now. LOL I finished it off with a ribbon and some Nuvo drops in groups of 3.

I hope if you are celebrating Easter tomorrow you have a truly wonderful day. Take care, Nanc’
