Happy Summer

This is my second post of the day so if you are looking for Just Us Girls, please scroll down!

For this card, I incorporated the colors from My Favorite Things Color Challenge with the great sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. As you can see I am still smitten with my new stash from MFT.

Here is another card I made that is just a tiny bit different. I am loving the way the backgrounds turned out and they were so quick to do!

Card Details: Shady Palm dies-MFT, Postage die-Hero Arts, the sentiments are both from MFT-Life’s a Beach and Itty Bitty Summer, I made the scene using some straight edge acetate, torn paper, and some Oxide inks. I splattered the palm leaves with white paint and green ink. The tiny sun on the first card is so old but it’s actually from MFT as well.

Thanks for stopping in and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Take care, Nanc’

CAS-Hello

I have a very quick card for you today that is for the CAS One Layer Challenge going on over at The Paper Players. One-layer cards aren’t easy for me as I always feel like they are missing something. You all know that I love my Oxide Inks but sometimes the black ink doesn’t get as crisp as I would like it to. I should have restamped this, but ended up taking it off my Misti too soon.

Card Details: Made myself a stencil for my sunset and used Oxide Inks for blending. The palm tree stamp is from Impression Obsession and the Hello is from Verve.

I hope whatever you do today you have a chance to get inky! Nanc’

CAS-Stenciling

Hello, Happy Sunday! I needed to make some quick CAS thank you cards and I figured there is no better stencil than this Retro Plam Trees from Newton’s Nook. The greeting is from Scrapbook.com.

I am playing along with two challenges. The first is Addicted to CAS where the challenge is a One-Layer card. And over at Happy Little Stampers-Anything goes with Stencils.

I hope you have a wonderful day and you find some time to be creative. We are headed to the beach with our bikes! Should be a great day! Nanc’

Miss You…

Hi, I hope you are having a great day! Over at Creative with Stamps, they have a new challenge starting and the word this month is Tree. Being a Florida girl I went with the obvious Palm Tree. This card was fun to throw together. I am also going to link it up over at Addicted to Stamps and More where it’s Anything Goes!! I have a few interesting card details below:

Card Details: Oxide Ink Background, used the MFT cloud die upside down for my “White-Capped Waves”, the sandhill is sponged and splatted and then cut with an edge-die from Papertrey Ink, Palm Trees and bare feet are Kitchen Sink Stamps, the Miss You is Pretty Pink Posh.

Thanks for stopping in, Nanc’
