 Hello Friends,

I am hosting this week over at Just Us Girls and it’s WORD week

and I have made it super, super simple…

the word I selected is Ribbon!

You can show us a little or a lot!

While your there give a shout out to our New Guest designer for the month of August!

Kristie Goulet!

Now some details on my card!

I have done this technique two other times and I really love it!

Take the negative of any diecut and adhere your ribbon to the

back of the die in any pattern you like!

It’s super simple and super Cool!

To give it some stability I then sandwich the ribbon between another

piece of card stock and adhere it to a card base.

The sentiment is from Verve in the Take Note set!

Any questions at all let me know!

Now head on over to JUGS and show us your Ribbon!

Take care,

Nanc’

Birthday Greetings

I am so excited that I made a card for 3 different challenges!!  2 is not uncommon for me, but I actually pulled of 3 this time.  I love when that happens!!  Are you enjoying the Olympics as much as I am.  The only hard part is staying up till 12 every night.  Good thing for summer break.  Those of you that are still working must be really tired!  Okay, onto the reason you stopped by!

Lots of colors going on in this card, but I think overall it works pretty well!  I had to sneak in the craft color I almost forgot it!

All the accents and leaves are made with my cricut!

The challenges are as follows:

Color Throwdown….color challenge

Stamp TV…. to use 3 different ribbons

Flourishes… is having a Birthday Celebration.

You have plenty of time to join in the fun!

Have a great weekend!

Brrrr….

Is this Florida or am I dreaming?  The weather has been the coldest I can remember. When I woke up this morning  it was 28 outside.  The great thing is it’s given me a reason to stay in and stamp, which I have really enjoyed!!   Another great thing is my DH made me a light box out of foam core board to help me take better photos of my cards.  I got the idea from a very talented fellow stamper named Sue who also lives her in Florida.  Check out her blog here! Now the card I am posting was inspired by the Mojo Monday Challenge, I altered the design just a tad- I hope it doesn’t disqualify me.  I have been wanting to do another challenge over there for quite some time.

Thanks for looking!

Hope you have a great evening wherever you are and I hope to be back soon with another post.

Remember to stamp or scrap your heart cause if you don’t do it… who else will,
