Miss You

This is my second post for the day but I am cutting it down to the wire with the Sketch Challenge over at MFT.  I started using Oxide inks to make my beach scene, but the sand itself is just kraft cardstock.  I should have given it some texture, but totally forgot.  Using my Beach Scene builders Palm Tree, one of the shells from that set, along with a starfish shell from Impression Obsession, I managed to check off the circle elements from the sketch.  The miss you sentiment is also from MFT.  I sure did struggle with the banner.  I made four different ones and still not overly happy with it. The fun scalloped rectangle I believe is Spellbinders.

Thanks for stopping by I sure do appreciate your sweet comments! Nanc’

Let’s Celebrate You

Hello, I have a card today for two challenges.  I paired the colors from The Paper Players with the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I still am enjoying my new SU set called Celebrate Sunflowers. In fact, my entire card is from SU. A little Copics and then enamel dots finished it off.

Thanks for popping in and I hope this post finds you well! HUGS, Nanc’

with Sympathy

I have a quick and easy card for you today.  That all began with the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.  When I need a quick Sympathy card this is one of my go-to cards.  A little bit of Designer Paper and these great SU products and it comes together pretty fast. I have added a few Nuvo drops too.

I hope you have a wonderful day however you choose to spend it, Nanc’

Word Week @ Just Us Girls

DSC_0071

Screen Shot 2016-02-11 at 8.37.57 PMHello Friends, It’s going to be a beautiful day here in Sunny Florida and I can’t wait to get outside and enjoy it!  Before I go, it’s time for our Word Week challenge at Just Us Girls! Maria has chosen the word Flowers this week.  Pretty easy huh! Who doesn’t like to put flowers on their cards eeh?  I would also like to welcome our newest Guest Designer Steph Castro.  We are happy to have you with us this month Steph! My card came to life by the wonderful Mojo Monday Sketch that I really, really liked this week.

Mojo437Here are some card details: Stippled Blossom stamp set is from SU, Sentiment is also SU.  The scalloped square die was given to me, so not sure whose it is. You may not have noticed, but I took the center of that square and originally put it under my blossoms to represent the circle in the sketch but ended up nearly covering the entire thing. LOL The leaves are from a Sizzix Die. I sure hope you have a wonderful weekend and if you have time this week to join the girls and I at JUGS we would love it!  Take care,  Nancy

CTS_157Hello Friends,  I hope your week is off to a great start, mine sure is!  I have had quite a lot of opportunity  to get my craft on as of late, which I have thoroughly enjoyed.  My Silhouette Cameo and I are getting to know each other quite a bit better and I think I am in LOVE. LOL  So the card I have for you today was designed using my Cameo and also around the awesome sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch.  As soon as I saw the Design Teams samples I knew I wanted to play along.  I was swooning over the GD-Kay Miller’s card.  It is just totally awesome!  I started out cutting out the word create using my Cameo and the sun and the clouds and bright green arch were all made with various die cuts.  The stamped and heat embossed sentiment is from Close to My Heart.   Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you also have the opportunity to craft real soon! Maybe if I become real brave or get a nice photo I will show you some of the shirts I have made with my Cameo too.  Take care, Nanc’

I told you it was great!

Too bad yours truly screwed it up a little bit!  Seems to be a pattern for me lately! 😦

I only made 4 back panels instead of 5…..OOPS!!!!  GEEZ Nanc’!!!

My double stick tape is like super glue so there was no going back!

I hope I am forgiven when you see my card!

JUGS

I must say the Summer Silhouettes Stamp set from Stampin Up…just might be my favorite SU set ever!

Thankful Summer flowers

I loved this panel so much that I thought it would be fun to create more then one!

Some details:

The banner die cut and the sentiment is from Verve.

All the ink is also Stampin UP along with the scalloped punch.

Good afternoon friends,  Hope you are off to a great week thus far.  My week has been super!!!

Combined those together with a little embossing powder and you have my card for today.

Time for a little love…

I stashed away inside my studio this afternoon and made this card for the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made.  Again I am getting this one in under the wire. Whew!!!  You would think a simple card like this would have taken about 20 minutes…well…let me just say that it was way longer than that, and this isn’t quite how it started out.  A few mistakes are what would you say….hidden.  LOL  Please tell me you hide your mistakes too?  And very often!   All in all, even though this design was not my complete intention…I am happy with it!

More Hearts…

Hello Friends,  How about another card with hearts today.

I love the DP I used yesterday and instead of putting it away for later use, I decided to pair it up with something new.

As I was blog surfing this morning as I always do on Saturdays…. I realized that the Dynamic Duos had posted their first color pair of the new year. YEAH!!!!

As I kept surfing along, I came across a great sketch over at The Friday Mash-Up and to top it off they want us to incorporate hearts in our design. ❤ I can so do that!

I love how my butterfly came out…he’s so cute!

So I paired these together and Wah-La!

Key to my Heart

Hello Crafting Friends,  Amongst my migraine today… I was determined to make a card and get it posted before night fall.  Today’s card is a combination of three challenges: 1. This intriguing sketch over at Retro Sketches, 2. Casual Friday’s asked us to incorporate a heart in our design and 3. Over at Stamp TV they wanted a CAS card focusing on Pink for Breast Cancer awareness month.  My mom had Breast Cancer and I knew I didn’t want to miss this opportunity!  The stamps and sentiment are also from Stamp TV and were designed by Theresa Momber and the set is called Timeless Treasures.  The DP is my Favorite of all time, and I still have a scrap or two left of it!  The rest of the cardstock is a mixture of GinaK , SU, and CM.  Added some ribbon and there you have it!

Thanks so much for your visit and enjoy your day or night!
