Peach and Kraft

Busy day here on the blog…if you are looking for my card for Just Us Girls, please scroll down!

Hello, It’s April 1st, and all joking aside….it’s time for the next Hues of Colors at Color Hues. Stef is our fabulous hostess and she along with the rest of the Design Team did an incredible job with her Peach and Kraft color combo.

Card Details: The lily die is from MFT, the greeting is foiled and from Spellbinders and I have it linked up for you below as I think the entire set is wonderful with so many fabulous phrases! That fun bow is something I was lucky enough to receive from a friend and is in an older SU set called Pierced Blooms and I just love it. I used a bit of DSP that I pierced with a Pink Fresh Studio cover plate called Sparkling Diamonds. I used a bit of Copics to make my lilies come to life. I used some gold foil paper and a small dot die cut to make my gold bits of shimmer to use as accents. It also doesn’t add too much bulk to the card for mailing purposes.

Card Details: with a few Affiliate Inks

Mini Everday Sentiments

Spellbinders 6

Glimmer Hot Foil System

Glimmer Hot Foil Pack

Bearly Art Glue

I am also linking up with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge using the diagonal row of Die-cuts, Free, and Circle.

Please come on over to the Color Hues blog and join us! We would love to have you! Take care, Nanc’

With Sympathy

Hello, It is time for the next challenge over at Just Us Girls. It’s Photo Week and the photo we have for you selected by Bobby has tons of room for inspiration. I could have gone with the obvious birdhouse as some of my wonderful teammates have done but I decided to focus on the colors that stood out the most which were blue and green with pops of yellow. I also loved the scallop of the birdhouse and pulled that into my design with the background stencil and the postal die as well.

I paired my card up to two other challenges. The first is the Tic Tac Toe Challenge and the second is Addicted to Stamps and More for their stencils and die-cut challenge.

I chose the last column of Die Cut, Flowers, and Stenciling.

Now, head on over to Just Us Girls and check out all the fabulous cards by the team and I hope you will be inspired to play along!

Card Details: Pink Fresh Studio- Daisy Wreath stencil and die set. The sentiment is from SU and the postal die is from Hero Arts. The background stencil is my fav and still a mystery. I used dimensionals too.

Before I go!

If things seemed rather quiet here on the blog as of late, we just got back from a long-awaited vacation in Santa Cruz, California. Here is one of the many pics we took while we were there visiting our son and DIL. We had a really great time! These fabulous redwood trees are just 15 minutes from their home. Yes, it was a bit chilly for these Florida folks.

Find something to do today that brings you joy, Nanc’

With Sympathy

Hello, I am back today with a Sympathy card for a friend of mine. I knew the Pink Fresh Studios set-Choose Hope would be perfect for my card design. I also wanted to make another card for the monthly challenge they have going on over at PFS. The challenge is to Frame it Up along with a pretty array of colors for inspiration.

A Few Card Details: I decided once again to stencil on a piece of DSP, a few weeks ago I made a card similar to this one and loved the results. Here it is in case you missed it.

Stamps and stencils are Pink Fresh Studios-Choose Hope and the greeting is new to me and from Sunny Studios. I framed the flower with my postage dies from Hero Arts. I added a few Nuvo drops also.

I hope you did or will do something today that will bring you joy, Take care-Nanc’

Hoping

I have been making a lot of floral cards the past few days, as I just am in love with this stencil, stamp, and die set combo from Pink Fresh Studios. It is called Choose Hope and I HIGHLY recommend it. For this particular card, I left off the dark outline stamp as I wanted a softer look.

I was inspired by the World Planting Day List over at Festive Friday. The four words I chose to work with are; Flowers, Green, Encouragement, and Stencils.

I am also joining in over at Happy Little Stampers Stencils Challenge like I often do.

Card Details: Pink Fresh Studios Stamp, Die and Stencil combo called-Choose Hope. This particular stencil that I used for the background, I don’t have the packaging for, so I am not sure whose it is. It is one of my favs too. Sorry about that. I used Oxide Inks and Catherine Pooler inks. The postage die is from Hero Arts. Clear Nuvo drops too.

Hope today you find time to do something that brings you JOY! Take care, Nanc’

With Sympathy

Hello, It is Saturday and time for the next fun challenge at Just Us Girls. Ina is our hostess and she has chosen a great trio of colors. One of the colors is teal and it’s always one of those shades that can vary in tone. In my photo, it looks a bit too light and I decided with Ina’s approval that I would go with it. So what I am basically saying is as long as your colors are close to the ones we have on the graphic… “Now, Don’t You Fret, Boba Fett!” Any Ted Lasso fans out there? We have watched both seasons 4 times and laugh just as hard with every episode. Love that show!

I am also playing along with the ladies over at The Flower Challenge where the challenge is Occasions.

Card Details: Cone Flower-Honey Bee Stamps, DSP-Pink and Main, White Stems-SU, Scalloped Rectangle-MFT, Greeting-SU, Oxide inks to color my flower.

Come on over to Just Us Girls and join us, who knows, you may become our next Chic of the Week!

Take care and happy creating, Nanc’

Love and Prayers

Hello, Today since the weather is cold and dreary I decided to make a card for the Festive Friday Challenge, plus I was in the need of a Sympathy card. I decided that my Gina K Designs-Little Love Layering Bundle would do the trick. I chose Florals, Green, and Blue for my pick 3.

Card Details: Gina K Designs- Little Love Layering Stencil Bundle, Oxide Inks, and dimensionals.

I hope whatever the weather is where you live or how you decide to spend your day, I hope it’s a good one. For those of you that I know that are hurting right now, just know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care, Nanc’

Sending Lots of Hugs

Hello, I am back again today with another Honey Bee Stamps Coneflower card. I am still working on perfecting the shades of color on the flower by inking up either white or colored cardstock. I have another card where I am very happy with the way the flower turned out, but this one isn’t so bad. I hope to put that flower on a card very soon. Kinda wish I hadn’t put on the white dots in the center of the flower, oh well!

My card was inspired by the great color challenge going on over at The Color Throwdown. DT member Susie picked a great one that caught my attention right away. Check it out below. A lot of the supplies for this card were leftovers in my bits and boxes that I am determined to use up or organize this week. Do you have any organizational plans in the New Year when it comes to crafting? I just got finished labeling the stencils that I have in a 3 ringed binder. I am really happy about that! No more having to jog my memory on whose it is or what it’s called, it also makes putting them back easier. The binder is quite full and it appears I have an addiction to stenciling. LOL

Card Details: Coneflower-Honey Bee Stamps inked on light yellow cardstock, Hugs die -MFT, Sending lots of-Gina K., Scalloped Rectangles-MFT, Border Punch is from Martha Stewart, Leaves are from Sizzix and embossed with a dotted EF, Nuvo drops, Inked up the flower with some Oxide Inks and a bit of Copics, White Gel Pen. DSP is a great pack from Pink and Main.

Thanks for coming by as I appreciate your visits! Take care, Nanc’

Clean and Simple

The card I have for you today is for the Clean and Simple sketch challenge #174!  I don’t know about you, but it seems like over the last few months I have needed so many sympathy cards. 😦  I hope this trend stops really soon, and I can make more cards for Happy occasions!

Have a fantastic middle of the week my friends.

Check back any time, I just love when I have visitors!
