Hello Friends,

Isn’t this a great sketch that Maria came up with this week

to jump start us into February?  Although keep in mind

you can always substitute that heart with any shape you want!

We also have a new Guest Designer with us this month….

Please help us welcome Melissa Hubert!

Here are the links to all the Design Team Members blogs as well!

Here is a little info on my card!

The heart shape was cut out with my Creative Memories cutter.

The sentiment is something I picked up at Michaels or a local store.

The Dp is my new Valentines pack of Recollections paper. LOVE IT!

I stamped my tic tac toe letters and then shaded them in with colored pencil.

I also lightly shaded around the perimeter of my heart.

The heart embossing folder is from Stampin Up…LOVE IT TOO!

I distressed the edges of the papers, punched out a heart

and added the flowers, the gems and dotted ribbon!

Please come by Just Us Girls and join us this week!

Enjoy your weekend and find some time to be creative

and watch a little football!  Go Broncos!

More Hearts!

Are you a little tired of all the Valentine cards yet?

We have one more week before the Big V- Day!

I will try to post something besides Valentines this weekend.

Today’s card is for Our Creative Corner sketch challenge,

and they titled their challenge, ” Make Mine Mushy”. LOL

I am also linking this card up with the Pink Elephant’s Inspiration Photo challenge.

Even though I didn’t use reds and pinks like the photo,

my thoughts were to mimic the 6 panels like the 6 photos.

My card didn’t photograph as well as I would have liked and it’s a lot

prettier than it appears.  However, I already sold it, so…. not much I can do about that now! 🙂
