Hello, It has been a few weeks since I had the opportunity to play along with my friends at The Paper Players, and as soon as I saw the Birds and Bees challenge I knew I could come up with something.
I have made a baby card like this in the past but not using the super fun Cloud Heart stencil from Miss Ink Stamps in conjunction with the MFT cloud stencil. Using both stencils together, I was able to achieve a lot of depth. I just love the way this turned out that I had to make a boy card too.
Card Details: The Cloud Heart Stencil is from Miss Ink Stamps and the cloud ripple is from MFT. The stork is from Impression Obsession. The greeting is from MFT.
I hope you get to do something today that brings you joy! Nanc’
Hello, It is the 5th Sunday of the month so it is time for the fun Tic Tac Toe Challenge over at The Paper Players. Laurie has come up with a fun board for us to pick from. I don’t know about you but I really enjoy these types of challenges, as it gives you so many different options to chose from. I have chosen the top row of die-cut, animal, and scene.
Card Details: I used a negative heart stencil and an MFT cloud stencil to make my cloud background. The cute dragons are also from MFT and they are colored with Copics and Prisma Colored Pencils. The cloud dies are also MFT and I didn’t like them stark white so I took a regular number 2 pencil and my finger and gave them some smudgy shading. I pulled out an older Verve stamp set for my greeting. I am pretty pleased with how this turned out and I can’t always say that. ;). I even gave the momma dragon some eyebrows.

Is this card and die set not the cutest thing ever? All courtesy of MFT of course. My DIL- Sandra asked me to make a card for her expecting sister using this set, and this is what I came up with. Of course, I snooped around Pinterest for some inspiration. This is the card that inspired me. I am pretty happy with the results and hopefully she will be too. The card all started with this Sketch I found over atInspire. Create. Challenges. I thought the sketch worked well with the poles of the clothesline. This card makes me dream of a GD of my own someday! Oh, what fun that would be. Of course, if they are still living in California, that wouldn’t be good at all! Hopefully, when the time comes they will live closer! Fingers tripled crossed!
Card Details: All dies are MFT, the sky background was blended with Oxide inks, some of the clothes have small punches for embellishments and or DP.
Hope you find some time to be creative today, Nanc
