Winter Birthday Wishes

Hello Friends,  I have another quick post for you tonight.  This time it’s for a sketch challenge over at Freshly Made along with the Oldies But Goodies winter wonderland challenge over at Stamp TV.  As I was looking back over the sketch I hope it’s okay that I added the ribbon.  Yikes…Hope so!  The card is going to be headed to my sister-in-law as her Birthday is next week.  I just got the new embossing folder and I absolutely love it!  It’s called square lattice and I have seen it on pinterest and have been wondering where I could get it and low and behold it’s from Stampin UP.  The snowflake image and the sentiment is from Stamp TV.  It’s kind of unusual to do black snowflakes, but I think they worked out okay!  Added the little snowflakes with a pen.  Thought the dead space need something!  And of course some gems and the ribbon!  The double lace was made with a MS punch.  The base is made with Gkd cardstock.

Hope you have a great Monday!

Let is Snow….

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let is Snow….well not literally!  There is not a chance of that here in Florida, that’s for sure.  The warm weather didn’t stop me from getting in the mood for Christmas today.  With Michael Buble’s Christmas Album playing on Spotify in the background I snuck in a few hours in the studio and I made my second Holiday Card for this season.

This card is for Three challenges….the first is for the Oldies but Goodies Challenge over at Stamp TV.

They asked us to get out some older Gina K stamps and design a winter wonderland and not to forget the bling.  Gotta have me some Bling!  🙂

Every time I break out my heat gun I wonder why I don’t use it more often and when I came across the beautiful turquoise embossing powder, I knew it was going to work splendidly!

I paired that up with this week’s fabulous sketch over at Deconstructed Jen.

Finally, it all started with this inspiration photo over at The Friday Mashup!  So Pretty!

I Used my Cricut for the snowflakes, ran a few through my cuttlebug

and inked the white ones up a tiny bit!

Thanks so much for your visit and have a fabulous day!
