It’s time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and Angie has picked out such a bright and happy color palette this week. I decided to incorporate the fast Watercoloring Technique from last week onto this card as well. Although, I only used it on my Hummingbird this time around. The background for my card was made with the same paper from SU that I have used before that I dearly love. All you have to do is rub it with some Oxide Inks and VOILA, it makes a beautiful resist background. The flowers are from MFT and so is the Wonky Rectangles and Flourish too. The hummingbird stamp is Gina K Designs and the thanks sentiment is Verve…who else!

That paper is fabulous, Nancy, and I love how you left it lighter at the bottom when inking. The fast watercoloring worked beautifully on the hummingbird.

Beautiful card! I love that ombre background! I think I have some of this paper with a different pattern. It’s been so long, I’ve forgotten! The technique on the hummingbird is beautiful as well!
