Sometimes the smallest things…

Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart!  Isn’t that the nicest sentiment!!  It’a a new Stamp I found over at Verve that I just had a chance to put some ink on.  I combined it with a Butterfly Stamp I have had for quite sometime, but it is still one of my favorites from Stamp Tv. This card is for a Challenge on Stamp Tv to case one of the Design Team members named Donna Baker, here is the card I cased.  I really enjoy doing this type of challenge, because you get to peruse through someones wonderful gallery and pick any card to Case. It’s so much fun, it’s almost like window shopping! LOL

Thanks for stopping in and sharing a minute of your day with me!

Hugs,

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 140

Isn’t this an awesome sketch!  My card is very simple and it is for the SSS140 challenge that I love participating in.  Now that I have it completed and ready to post, I noticed that I failed to cut out the insides of the coffee cup handles.  UGH!!!  I could take them off, but they are adhered with pop dots and GLUE.  I had to glue them down because they wouldn’t  lay flat!  You don’t know how much this is bugging me!!  Oh well, in the grand scheme of things, does it really matter?  I  think not!  The stamps are from Verve and it’s called Sip and Savor. Thanks for stopping by!

Clean and Simple…

This is my very first post for a Challenge I have come across while blog surfing and it is called Clean and Simple Challenge.  It is just that Clean and Simple!  I hope it is okay that I added the flower and differed from the sketch a tiny bit, but as I was looking at the other entries, it looks like I am safe.  The scalloped tag stamp is from Verve and it is a must have!

Thanks for sharing a moment with me …how I do love when you stop by,

Happy 50th….

Here is a card I made today for a good friend who is throwing herself a 50th Birthday party tomorrow evening!  Yes, you read that correctly!  She is throwing it herself!  If you want it done right, I guess you do it yourself.

I also made this card for a challenge over at Stamp TV.  Here is a link to everyone’s creations!

In honor of Breast Cancer we were encouraged to make a pink card..this isn’t pink as much as it is rasberry…hope it qualifies!!!

Hope you are having an amazing day!

Thanks for spending a moment with me!

Fall is in the air…

In a couple of days we are suppose to have a cold front come our way and it should bring our temperatures down to the high of 70’s during the day!  Bring it on…can’t wait to open up the windows and have it start feeling like fall.  Speaking of fall, the card I have for you today is for a few different challenges I came across as I was surfing the net.  1) Stamp Tv  2) Pals Paper Arts and 3) Sweet Sunday Sketch.  The sketch is off just a tad, because I put my sentiment at the top of the card…hope that’s okay!!  This is the first time I have managed to combine one card for 3 Challenges.  I enjoyed making this card very much!   I took three ovals that I cut out with my Creative Memories cutting system to make my Pumpkin then I ran it through the Cuttlebug and embossed it to give it some texture.  Love how it turned out!  The ribbon I have had forever from Michael’s.

Happy Stamping and thanks for stopping by,

Fall Color Challenge

Hello Stampers,

The card I have for you today is for a Fall Color Challenge over at Our Creative Corner.

My card doesn’t entirely scream fall, but I am pleased with how the colors came together.

The colors are all about fall…… maybe just not the tulip.  LOL

As always thanks for stopping in!

Happy Stamping or Blog surfing,

And the envelope please…

It’s a rainy day here in Florida and what a great excuse to squeeze in some time to stamp!  Over at Stamp Tv they have a challenge ending tonight…I almost missed it!  The challenge is to make a card and decorate the envelope to match.  What a great idea!  I believe I have done this before, years ago.

It sure does add a nice finished touch.

Hope you have a great day!

Say it with flowers…

I have a card to post here today that wasn’t made for any particular challenge, it”s just a card I created with no particular rules or color specifications in mind. We all have to do that once in awhile don’t we ?  I can honestly say that I am pretty happy with the outcome!   The colors came together really nice and if you didn’t notice I used a butterfly punch cut in half for the petals of the flower.

Thanks for stopping by,
