I have an exciting card for you today! I can’t often say that, but today I am thrilled with how this card came together.
The challenge I jumped on board with was the July Diva Dare. They dared us to dig into all that gorgeous patterned paper we’ve been hoarding saving. LOL My card also works with the Mojo Monday 201 Sketch Challenge. This paper that I chose is absolutely beautiful…and I must say it was difficult to cut into!

Welcome…The card I have to post today is a Wedding Card. It’s very simple, but elegant. The rings were made by the Creative Memories cutting system. That is one of the first scrapbooking supplies I ever bought, that I couldn’t live without! Many years ago I was a consultant for Creative Memories and that company is still very dear to me.
They are the reason I think it is so important to scrapbook your life and I am so grateful to them, and so is my son!

I try to keep busy so that I am not missing my son so much, who is away at college for the first time. GO NOLES!
The best part about summer has been the walks on the beach with my DH.

I made this card quite along time ago and somehow forgot to post it! It is simple to do and I love the way the mound of grass came out. I would love to give a shout out to the designer that originated the idea for the hill, but I blog surf sooooo much, and I see it so often, I don’t think it is fair to thank one person for the inspiration. I just know it wasn’t my genius idea! LOL

This was such a great idea over at Stamp TV. The challenge was a direct to paper technique, meaning you are going to use ink, and swipe it onto your paper. The ideas are endless! I love the end results! It’s fun too!

This weekend I got some time to play along with a few challenges while hubby and son went to see the new Transformers movie (not my thing). If you ask me its just a bunch of loud crashing and booming as they transform again and again with not much plot. Since it made 97 million this weekend, I guess I am the only one that feels this way! LOL
